Me and girlfriend both 22 really enjoyed our stay at Abrat. Quite a walk from San Antonio town but this was good as it meant you could sleep after your nights out without being disturbed! Quite a quiet hotel which we liked and really lovely gardens and pool. Food basic and my girlfriend is a fussy eater but what you expect from 3*. I would definately go back as it was a lovely hotel.

A last minute booking brought my wife and I to this hotel. We were apprehensive as we arrived as we are both in our 60's and wanted a quiet holiday. We need not have worried.
The older clients and those that wanted peace were all allocated rooms on the top floors whilst the younger element were kept on the bottom floors. All age categories were therefore thoughtfully catered for.
The hotel staff were all excellent, friendly, and obliging.
The room was large, kept clean, and was very comfortable with a large balcony and sea view. A fridge was supplied for a nominal charge. Catering facilities were excellent and available all hours.
The breakfasts were first class, plenty of choice and English oriented, whilst dinner was good.
The only criticism was that chips were the only type of potato served up but the food was hot and plentiful.
Pleasant pool area and large gardens which adjoined a small but cosy sandy beach. A new walkway was just being completed, and this took you all the way down, along the water’s edge, to the port and centre of the resort, a walk that took us about 15 minutes.
All in all, one of the finest places we have stayed at, really believing its 3 star rating and considering comparable costs for other accommodation, we felt that we'd had one real bargain.

We have been coming to the Abrat for many years to appreciate the beautiful gardens and hospitality at the hotel, a small family friendly place round the corner from the sunset bars.
The Abrat is ideally placed far enough away from the noise of San Antonio but a short walk to get to the centre of the action if you wish. It sits round the corner from the stunning cove of Cala Gracio.
All in all the Abrat is a wonderful hotel, the staff are really friendly and the food, though basic- rustic Spanish/ international- is always good and the buffet tempting.
The rooms are basic, tiled floors, twin beds, TV, no frills bathroom, but we like this it has a family hotel feel rather than the "you could be anywhere" feel of some of the big hotels.
In the evenings they do lay on some amusing entertainment- the "music man" does the rounds of the seafront hotels but you can sneak out the front to avoid his encouragement to join in!
Of an evening you can walk to the bars and enjoy the atmosphere as the sun sets or when feeling lazy sit on your balcony with the amazing view out to sea. There is good walking behind the hotel up the hill with stunning views across the town or take a walk along the coast and discover other small beaches.
Regrettably we will never go back after our last experience. The hotel is now accepting bookings through Escapades and this is such a shame. We are just outside of the 18-30 brackets ourselves and will club till 6am with the best of them but the conduct of the Escapade visitors was appalling.
Vomiting several nights in the corridors, extreme rowdiness around the pool forcing families and other guests to vacate the area- luckily the Abrat has beautiful gardens. The rep received many complaints but was powerless to control them.
We were staying at the change over and sadly the next batch were no better. After nights being woken up by returning clubbers with no thought to their fellow guests - we moved.
It's a beautiful place to stay but the UK guests are disgusting.

Hotel Abrat *** is located infront of Es Calo des Moro beach, San Antonio, Ibiza.and not where some tour ops describe it to be in San Antonio Bay Location not to bad near to Cala Gracio. It is a smallish hotel and very well run and good service with daily towels and bed make up, etc.. , has its own pool and a garden where there are a few trees for shade It also has a bar which does food during the day . the hotel has internet and wifi for the internet buffs who cant go a few weeks without logging on,(FOOD)Meals in the restaurant were Hot where supposed to be and Cold when supposed to cold ,which makes a change . there is not as much choice as you get in the larger hotels but I found the food was of good quality and really nice so that made up for the lack of choice ,the hotel is not really set up for people with walking disabilities or in wheelchairs as the hotel lifts dont go down to the pool or bar area which is a shame ,Rooms are basic but with air con and tv and safe (payable ) ,if your lucky the rooms at the front get the advantage of been able to see the well acclaimed sunset Ibiza is renowned for all in all a good 5 days there
