W Tuscany Hotel

We stayed at the Tuscany for 2 nights, we loved the location. We found the hotel to be clean and quiet. The rooms are spacious and confortable. We drove and found the hotel to be easy to acces from the tunnel, valet parking will cost you $ 50.00 plus tax, we figured it was fine for New York. We had a very good stay at the Tuscany!

My husband and I stayed at the St. Giles Tuscany for our Anniversary weekend. It is a very trendy hotel with spacious rooms. It is just out of the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas but close enough to the avenues for shopping. Everyone was very friendly and overall I would definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to stay in the overcrowded areas, anyone looking for a good deal, and anyone who likes boutique hotels!

Stayed here in mid may for a girls weekend/bachelorette party. had really not such a good impression, from getting overbooked and moved to the court which should be not a big deal except they lost our reservation, got that straigtened out, then when we checked in they had moved us back to the tuscany without telling us so we had to figure out on our own as the receptionist at the court was of no help and very rude. once we got up to the rooms at the tuscany, they were ok, by no means were they 4.5 star but they were acceptable. the hotel... more

We stayed for almost a week and couldn't have been happier. The rooms were well appointed and spotless. They were the most spacious rooms I ever stayed in in NYC. The staff was EXCELLENT. Friendly and eager to please. They treated us like family and even hugged us when we left. The location is fabulous as well. I would never stay anywhere else in NYC. I highly recommend this hotel and all the staff. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I stayed here, albeit when the hotel was part of the W chain. If you're looking for a location that is central enough so that you can walk to most of mid-town but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle, I would recommend this hotel. We've stayed in several in NY and this one was by far and away the best. This was my first stay at this hotel and everything was great. The room was spacious and well appointed. All of the employees went out of their way to make me feel welcome and respond to every request.

After reading all the recent negative reviews of this hotel, I had to add my review as we had an excellent stay.I had booked 3 of the smaller rooms but 2 of them were upgraded and one was huge.The staff were ALL very helpful and polite and arranged for a limo to be at the hotel to take us to dinner with one phone call.The hotel is small with a personal feel and will not suit you if you like larger touristy hotels. There will always be something one can find fault with but this hotel does not deserve all the recent negative feedback

Midway through a business trip to NY, my spouse and I moved in to Manhattan from the W in Hoboken for the weekend and stayed at the W Tuscany. The staff were polite and efficient, and they upgraded us to a suite. The room, while big (especially by NY standards) was much the worse for wear: worn carpeting, battered paint, furniture sort of shoved into places where something else had originally belonged. The Tuscany’s staff are it’s greatest asset- the most friendly and helpful we’ve ever come across in a hotel. Location is fantastic – it’s in a leafy street in pretty Murray Hill and we were easily able to walk to most places (MSG, Empire State, Times Square etc). Hotel itself is old and the rooms reflect that unfortunately. Room had a great view of the Chrysler building but could have done with more lighting and the air con was very noisy. My colleague and I stayed at this hotel on a business trip. We selected it through our previous great experiences with Starwood properties. Between booking our reservations and checking in - Starwood dropped the hotel from their group. We think we know some of the reasons why and wish we'd moved hotels when Starwood notified us of this change. We had corner rooms, next to the fire stairwell.
