A Holiday-inn
from THOMOPOL
A basic- luxury hotel. Good value for money. Medium location and facilities. Good for 1-2 weeks holidays. Not for luxury weekends.
Excellent base for a New Year break
from SeonaidC.
We had a bit of a hitch when we arrived in that they had us booked for an 'inland view' room instead of the sea view we had reserved. It was sorted, and we were delighted we insisted on the sea view. Super room, delightful view, and the staff were excellent. Definitely would use this hotel again.
We loved the holiday inn
from sweetperson
My husband and myself stayed at the holiday inn for one week in May which was our first time in Cyprus. We were delighted with our stay our room had a sea view which was very nice and also looking onto the garden and pool area of the hotel, our room was basic but comfortable and clean with tea and coffee making facilities, bathroom was lovely, but the nicest part of the stay was the hotel grounds and pool areas these were beautifull plenty of loungers and very relaxing. the pool was the nicest i have seen in a long time.We were half board so eating every night at the hotel was real nice the food was good as was the service. All the staff were helpfull. My husband and i are meeting family in cyprus next year but we are going to coral bay this time i really do wish there was a holliday inn there as that would be my first choice as we had a lovely time at the holiday inn limasoll. I Would fully recommend it.
Holiday Inn Limassol

Holiday Inn Limassol Service in general was excellent Food was about average - buffet served and sometimes stale. One plumbing problem with room which was fixed 10 mins after a phone call on a Sunday afternoon. Eating out in Cyprus expensive and you have to search for good restaurants. Don't want to recommend 'cos it depends on your taste. A good holiday if you like architectural history. In this respect Paphos is worth a visit. Troodos mountains worth a one off visit but wait for a really hot day. Temperature drop is about 7c in the mountains. Best time to visit March to May or late Sept to end Oct.
"Great Hotel!
from salvja
Just back from five days in Limassol, where we stayed in the Hoiday Inn Limassol. The hotel is excellently situated, and offers lots of facilites like a beautiful pool, indoor heated pool, gym, hairdressing salon. Our room did not have a sea view, and as such looked over the road, which is rather busy, but if you're there in summer you just close the windows and switch on the aircon., and you never hear whatever is going on down in the road! We had breakfast in the hotel every day, and usually also dinner or lunch. The food was substantial, and well cooked, although maybe a bit repetitive. Breakfast included lots of lovely Cypriot goodies like Greek yoghurt, halloumi cheese, feta cheese and almond pastries. The pool-side was never over-crowded, and the hotel even provided towels for the gym and pool-side, which means that one did not have to carry towels all the way to Cyprus. Our room was very comfortable, with a large double bed. The sheets were pristine, and the quilt provided was nice to use with the aircon. on. Bathroom enjoyed all amenities, including a bidet, a clothes' line for wet clothes and a hairdryer. There was also a well-stocked fridge/ bar.
Ok for one night
from Fulhamrob
Stayed here for one night on business in sep 06. I can see what previous reviews have said - but my room view was ok (try to secure a sea view!) The room was small and functional, although the bed was horrifically uncomfortable. the facilities around the hotel were ok, but i really did not spend much time here. Good points - bar was nice, swimming pool looked nice, Chicken Casar Salad was great, car parking, and sea view. Bad Points - Not the most friendly check in staff, room not very comfortable
Nice Hotel, Great Staff, Shame about Limassol
from oO-STEVE-Oo
Just returned from Limassol and had a very pleasant time and liked the hotel. This was despite not being impressed at all with Limassol or the location of this hotel or the noisy road infront. The hotel is situated about 15 minutes walk from the lively part of town in a run down, quiet part of Limassol. This seemed to suit the predominately elder visitors to the hotel, but for me and my girlfriend just meant a longish walk each evening. Hotel is generally very good and difficult to fault. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the rooms are nice. The pool area had just been completely renovated and was very nice, clean and comfortable. The first dilema is sea view room or inland view room. We had inland and were offered an upgrade to sea view for CP10/night (£12.50), which then they discovered was unavailable. Inland view looks straight over the busiest, loudest dual carriageway I have ever seen in a built up area. With the balcony doors closed tho, most of this is cut out. This road causes most problems during the evening when we went out. It runs all the way along Limassol past all the bars and restaurants. Sitting outside a nice bar you get deafened by the boy racers in their plastic covered, twin exhaust sooped up cars driving past at stupid speeds racing each other. I have never seen so many boy racers in one place before and it slightly ruined the holiday. Back to the hotel, and the only other small complaint was the drink prices. Some were quite pricy and if you sign too many to your room over your stay you could end up with a big bill. We often fetched drinks and ice creams from the shop directly opposit the hotel (Be careful he tried short changing us twice!!) which saved money. Beer was ok at CP2 (£2.50) but soft drinks and spirits were quite expensive, but then no more than you would expect from such a hotel. We were half board and were very happy with the food. Breakfast was excellent, and dinner was good. At dinner the salads and starter, and the deserts were excellent but the main course was sometimes a little limited altho still good. The hotel has a small beach which can be seen on the photo's which is ok, but not the nicest beach ive seen. Its soft sand with no stones or pebbles which is good, but the dark sand is a little off putting. The pool area was so nice we never spent long on the beach. We stayed Late May and the weather was amazing, almost too hot. 25 degrees C when we arrived, up to 37 degrees when we left. Didnt see a cloud all week! If you venture out I can mention two places. The Woodmans - Bar and Restaurant. 10 mins walk out hotel turn left, on left. Superb Food and service at very very low prices. So good we spent 3 out of 9 nights there!! Watched Eurovision song contest, and a football game on big screen whilst enjoying there great food and service. Charades - Restaurant and Bar (more restaurant) 15 min walk, out hotel turn left, on right. Auful, auful food and service, at prices that would look expensive in central London. Avoid!! Overall, hotel is very nice, but we were'nt massive fans of Limassol or its race track dual carriage way. I enjoyed the holiday but only becasue the weather was so good, the hotel was nice and I was with my beautiful girlfriend. If you have to go to Limassol or really want to then this hotel is good otherwise try a holiday inn elsewhere.
Fantastic service
from Jane1706
We spent a week here in February. the staff were fantastic nothing was too much trouble. We were half board and the food was pretty good - thoroughly recommend the hotel please don't bring your kids as this would spoil it for us.
Incorrect description of Inland view room
from A TripAdvisor Member
The term Inland View for the bedroom is totaly false,it should be rooms overlocking main dual carrage way ( continual traffic noise ). This is a shame as the hotel is very good otherwise. the shock of this discovery would be lessend if the outside view of the hotel on the web site hand not had all the buildings opposite the hotel airbrushed out. The views from the sea view bedroom are superb so pay the extra to avoid a holiday of misery
Great for laisure!

I stayed at this hotel on a business trip. It's doenst fit business travelers - but for holiday, it beats many others for its sea-side location!!! [and the near-by attractions.[ Ask for a room with a sea-side view!

Hotel has a lovely reception and staff were friendly on check in. Room was good size, nice and clean with a good sized bathroom. Down side was that our balcony looked over the street (did ask for sea view but none left) but it was a good sized balcony. Also as we were at... more
