For me Florence just beats Venice for beauty, the Centro storico has to been seen to be believed. The only downside is the number of tourists even in February.
This hotel is basic, but a good price, handy location quite close to the train station and a short walk to the main centre, the rooms are ok but the major selling point is the top floor restaurant which has some amazing views, pity the breakfast didn't live up to it.
Overall good if you’re on a tight budget.
