We booked our accommodation on line for 2 adults and an 8yr old boy. We booked a junior suite for 5 days.
The hotel is excellent, the staff very friendly and keen to help. We had the hotels concierge service book our museum tickets, these were waiting for us on arrival, by doing this we avoided long queue's.
We stayed mid October and the rooftop pool was still open. The pool is small but in an old city like Florence there are few pools. There is a fabulous view of the city from the pool area.
The junior suite was as it shows on the hotels web site, it could be divided by a curtain across the middle, a small bathroom with all you will need - towels robes etc, bath with shower. From our room there was a view of the Santa Marie Novella.
The hotel is in the Piazza Santa Marie Novella the Piazza is not what it used to be and is now needing some work done to it.
The food in the hotel is excellent , if you want to eat out there is an abundance of restaurants a few minutes walk away.
We flew into Pisa airport and took the bus to Florence (be warned pre-book your tickets for the bus and join the bus queue as soon as possible) on arrival we were only 2 mins from hotel across one road.
