+ : Very close to the train station (5 minutes, first street left from Porta Nuova station's main entrance). Room was quiet, spacious, and clean. Stayed at this hotel with a friend during world championship bridge tournament. We had a car and there was free parking. The staff was friendly and fluent in Italian, French and English. (They told me German also but I don't speak German and can't be the judge of that). The standard twin rooms were very small but we upgraded to a superior twin and it was large with two closets and a large bathroom with bath and shower. The hotel is off the railway station - some 10 minute walk. Prostitutes are hunting clients in the parking lot in front of the hotel, and there's virtually nothing worth seeing or doing in the area. For drivers. the hotel has a locked parking lot which must be an asset in this area. Reception is reasonable and they speak English. The single room I was in was small (with a single bed), but the bathroom was more spacious. Everything was impeccably clean. Pais Eur 77 for a single - not a great deal.
