My girlfriend and myself purchased a late deal holiday to Girona, we had no idea of the accommodation until arrival.

We were amazed of our accommodation, a lovely looking building with less than a five minute walk to the beach.
<br>
Inside was just as good, a balcony the length of my house at home, air conditioning and lovely finishing’s of silver and blue.

I must say i was impressed with the accommodation and the level of politeness the staff showed us on our holiday. <br>

It does not have a Pool there but you can use the Hotels one opposite. Don’t let this put you off as this is a very nice place indeed. As it is an apartment you have no entertainment there, and you enter via a smallish reception area. There are not many rooms there, probably only about 30 so it is very quite.

Try the La Llesca Bar for excellent cheap local snacks ( this is a small Bar dead opposite the Seafront and near the 333 arcade. The Tiger Prawns there are just 1.95 Euros (about £1.35p) and delicious! Also check out the Colors Bar, this is also a Snack Bar, and they serve Lager straight from "Frosty" frozen Glasses and the only one I found that did that out there (1.90 Euros) a Pint about £1.35p. This is in the middle of the shopping precinct.

For Cigarettes the cheapest places out there are the Tabacs outlets, there is 3 of these there and one being opposite the Colors Bar mentioned above. Don’t bother looking elsewhere for cheaper Fags, you wont find them cheaper!

Restaurants are plenty. Don Josep and Diagonals, are in the centre, the latter being near the zebra crossing to the left. Both do traditional Spanish food such as Paella etc. Try the Spanish style Lamb in Don Joseps, although dear (18 Euros) each, you get a whole leg of Lamb in a lovely sauce with sauté potatoes, it is lovely. Don’t change currency in Costa Brava, the rates are dreadful (just 1.36 per £).

Shops are plenty here but a bus ride on the mini buses for 2 will cost 4.20 Euros return to Callela and there are shops galore along a long straight strip and there is something for every shopper there! All in all a great place. Some locals seem a bit rude at first but you get used to this and they are not that bad. I fully recommend the Nostre Mar and would go back there again.

It is excellent and the Double Bed was a real plus as was the general quietness and the air-conditioned rooms that even seemed cool without it on. Just remember you will need the Door Fob Key to operate the electricity and turn on the Air Con Thermostat.

There are a few English Bars along the seafront, the Buccaneer, for a Karaoke sing-song and one or two others. A great place to stay that is ideal for couples and perhaps families depending on what you are looking for! It is also about 45 minutes from the Airport which is a big plus, especially if you have a very late flight over. <br>
