We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers and booked this holiday last minute after trawling various holiday websites and settling for this 3T Thomson place after reading it's reviews, which were all spot on. It is also perfectly as described and pictured on their website. It's at a very quiet end of the resort (no rowdyness at all at night even in August) about 0.5km from the start of Sidari town, although there are tavernas, restaurants and the odd small bar loosely scattered from 150m onwards. Spiros and his friends run the show very well, the pool is big and clean, loads of sunbeds, just one day when we couldn't get 4 together although there were spares stacked up we just made do with 2 and spent more time in the pool. There were mainly families there with a mix of kids ages, a few couples and thankfully no drunken yobs dive bombing the pool! The pool bar sells refreshments, breakfast and light meals all day (eg bacon and egg on toast 2.50 Euro, big breakast with a coffee 5E)and they also have a restaurant menu of quite a few traditional greek plates as well as the burgers, spag bol, pizza etc if that's your taste. They also had a traditional Greek night on a Thursday. Lager was about 2 - 3 Euro depending on size, pool table was 2E but as I'm rubbish I got my moneys worth, ha! The hotel is immaculately clean through the lounge and reception to the rooms which were cleaned every day, they even made the beds for us lazies! We had a 2 bedroomed appartment on the ground floor with separate kitchen/dining area and a balcony off each bedroom. They were a good size compared to others we have stayed in. I think there are about 25 rooms in total. We eat an evening meal out on 6 of the nights and never had a bad one, typical for us was garlic bread or stuffed vine leaves for starters, greek dish like beef stifado or lamb kleftiko, pint of lager, carafe of wine and couple of cokes each for the kids and that cost us between 35 - 47 Euros. The town is about 0.5km long and was very hot in the day (it was mid to late 30's all week, time for a beer!) and busy at night with a mix of bars, restaurants, tavernas and souvenier shops. There's plenty of greek dancing, plate smashing, cheesy tribute acts and shopping to pass the night away as well. One point to note is most of the restaurants have people in the street encouraging you that their's is "the best", hand you leaflet after leaflet and try and get you to take a look. We like to make our own mind up so you soon get the habit of politely declining, or lying through your teeth by saying we've already eat ;o) The beaches and walks around Canal D'Amour are lovely, as are the main beach and the one at the end of the town. Water was calm for the week we were there and it's shallow for quite a way out, great for little ones although our kids might have liked a wave or two. There are water sports if you fancy it, sunbeds are 3E for the day if you don't fancy lying on the sand. We've had a fair few Greek Island holidays and would say all in all that Sidari is nice and the Sunny Corfu is brill. We normally try somewhere different every year but are definately thinking about a return to this little beauty.

Great Place to stay

what a great place to stay, Siros & Clair can't do enough to make your holiday enjoyable nothing is to much trouble.
Hotel is very clean and the cleaners work hard to see that it stays that way.Rooms are large and although basic there is enough of everything unless you want to cook a large meal on the small cooker. Hotel is in agood position ,just outside of Sidari to be away from the noise but only a five min walk if you want to go into the town for a meal or a drink. Plenty of good resturants close by and we did not have a bad meal at any of them.
We will be back and would recomend this hotel and resort for a great holiday.

The Sunny Corfu Apartments are one of the nicest I've stayed in, made all the better by the staff who make you feel more a friend than a guest - Spiros, Claire and Georgina certainly help make the holiday.
The accommodation is really good - clean, tidy and everything you need, plus you can get snacks and breakfasts within the complex as well as there being some good restaurants nearby.
Only downfall we could find with the accommodation was the beds were very hard and there was no air conditioning, but fans can be hired.
The accommodation is in a quiet part of Sidari but only a few minutes walk from the lively main strip and is very relaxing - and the pool is very inviting.
All in all, I want to go back! Soon!

We stayed at the Sunny Corfu In August in a 2 bedroomed apartment. The apartment was clean and tidy with a TV in each room. Unfortunately during the Olympics all Greek TV showed was Volleyball and Water Polo! The utensils etc are the normal minimum of 4 of everything, and a good tip is to take a decent mug for tea or coffee as the cups are tiny.
The staff at the hotel are all really friendly and try as hard as they can to fix anything tha has gone wrong.
The only real down side was a lack of Air Conditioning as it was really hot. However we were able to get a nice breeze by keeping the windows open at night.
Beware of the mosquitos that are vicious - use a spray with DEET in it. Other types did not work.
the pool was excellent and clean, and there are plenty of beds even at high season.
The food in the hotel is fine, but we found Billy's about 50m to the right as you go out of the hotel which was excellent value for lunch. The Greek night BBQ is worth doing and we had really good fun doing the dancing!!
For dinner the three closest restaurants, Sailors, Family and Mythos were all excellent, with Mythos probably the best.
Sidari beach is about 5 mins walk away and is shallow and safe.
The main town is 10 mins walk away and has a good selection of restaurants, but is also full of football shirts etc.
If you want a bit of culture thn make sure you hire a car and go to Kassiope.
Aqualand is a must for anyone with kids. We had a fantastic day out. Sidari Water park and hotel is also worth a look for half a day if you want a change from the beach.
Don't book any of the trips with Thompsons as they are all much cheaper with the travel companies in the town.
We had an excellent holiday hence the review

This was one of the best holidays we have had. The apartments were lovely. It was approximately 5 minutes walk to the resort centre/beach (well maybe 12 mins - we had two kids under 5). There are lots of tavernas nearby but there is no noise at all at night in the apartments even thought they are slightly set back from a road.
The apartments are thoroughly cleaned every day (except Sunday). They even washed our breakfast pots for us one day - how embarrassing. Our kids were so eager to get to the beach we decided to leave them until we returned.
Nothing was too much trouble for Spiros and Claire. Our kids loved them and we enjoyed their friendliness and sense of humour. Everything we asked for they supplied. Spiros even gave us ideas on places to visit when we hired a car.
There were six of us in our party. We booked 2 x two bedroom apartments and they were very spacious. The kitchen had plenty of equipment - toaster, mini oven, two hot plates, kettle.
The Greek Night is a must. It was so much fun even our kids enjoyed taking part.
The pool was great for the kids and the grounds were lovely.
Overall this was a lovely holiday made even better by the friendliness of Claire & Spiros.
We highly recommend these apartments to anyone.

Holiday was 100% fantastic. The apartment was clean, spacious, close to the beach and only a few minutes walk from the nearest tavernas and supermarkets and approx 5-10 minutes walk into Sidari's nightlife. Spiros and his team running the bar and restaurant made you feel like one of the family - Brilliant fun. I would highly recommend "Sunny Corfu" to all my friends.
