Comments:  WE ARE JUST BACK FROM A GREAT HOLIDAY IN SALOU, THIS HOTEL WAS BEAUTIFUL, THE WATERFALL IN THE POOL WAS LOVELY AT NIGHT. THE ROOMS ARE REALLY CLEAN THE MAID CAME IN EVERY DAY AND CHANGED THE TOWELS AND MADE THE BED, THE ONLY BAD THING I CAN SAY ABOUT THE HOTEL IS THE WALLS ARE PAPER THIN U COULD HEAR EVERYTHING, IT WAS THAT BAD WE COULDNT SLEEP AT NIGHT SO DURING THE DAY WE WERE SO TIRED WE HAD TO GO TO BED FOR AN HOUR WHEN THE HOTEL WAS A BIT QUIETER.

THERE IS LOTS TO DO IN SALOU WHICH WAS GOOD. AMD LOADS OF PLACES TO EAT

Comments:  I have stayed at this hotel seven times and it is the best hotel by far in Salou, everytime I have stayed at the hotel it had got better and better. I recommended the hotel to a colleague of mine and she was amazed at the cleanliness of the hotel and was very impressed with all staff members.
The meals are gorgeous and they suit everyone. I keep going back to Salou not only because of the theme park but also because I know that the hotel is brilliant and I know that I will always have a fantastic holiday and there will never be any disappointment.

Comments:  This hotel was excellent overall. It was spotlessly clean. We had our towels changes every day and the maids came in and cleaned round and made the beds every day. There was numerous cleaners all round the hotel and a senior member of staff overlooking their cleaning. The food was fabulous. We ate in it every night for 2 weeks except one night. We were actually looking forward to our food in the evening. They had all the different meats and fish, salads., etc. you could want. 10 out of 10 for food and cleanliness. Entertainment at night was quite basic and spanish. Not a lot of excitement. But because it was centrally located we could branch out for entertainment. The bedrooms were quite basic and small but we werent in them too much so we didnt mind. Hotel staff were very helpfull. The hotel itself wis only 10 mins walk from the beach and the bus service is only about 2 mins walk away . The bus takes you to all the neighbouring towns and also portaventura. All the important amenities are closeby. All round an excellent location. Brilliant holiday.

Comments:  HAVE JUST RETURNED FROM 1WKS HOLIDAY AT DELFIN PARK AND THOROUGHLY ENJOYED IT. ON ARRIVAL WE WERE DEALT WITH QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. WHEN WE GOT TO OUR ROOM WE REALISED THERE WERE NOT ENOUGH PILLOWS FOR US, WE RANG DOWN TO RECEPTION AND WITHIN HALF AN HOUR THEY WERE BROUGHT TO US. THE HOTEL IS SPOTLESS, THE ROOMS WERE CLEANED DAILY, THERE WAS PLENTY OF CHOICE IN THE RESTAURANT, AS THE FOOD CATERED FOR EVERYONE. ALL THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY FROM RECEPTION THROUGH TO THE CLEANING STAFF. THE ONLY DOWN-SIDE WAS THERE WAS A LACK OF MUSIC AROUND THE POOL AREA WHEN YOU WERE SUNBATHING, BUT THAT MAY HAVE BEEN BECAUSE IT IS STILL EARLY SEASON. WILL CERTAINLY GO BACK AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

Comments:  My family and I stayed at the Delfin hotel for a week from the 7th September 2007.

It was the best holiday I’ve ever had. The hotel, rooms, food, and staff was fantastic, the pool was beautiful with a lovely waterfall in the evening it was all lit up, and very romantic.

The hotel was near the beach which was sandy with plenty to do along the promenade. There was plenty of shops and place to eat, we are hoping to book again next year and take the rest of my family with us.

We flew with Thomas cook. The crew was very friendly and helpful we also liked how much leg room and space there was on the plane.

Comments:  I stayed at this hotel for a week at the start of September with my friend.

The hotel is lovely. The pool is is gorgeous, and the reception is lovely. And it’s in a perfect location for everything.

The food was ok, nothing special and often cold.

I would recommend this hotel to couples etc but not young people looking for a good time. You are not allowed to go into other peoples rooms even if they are the room next to you.

The security guard will come and knock on your door and shout at you for anything. There are cameras EVERYWHERE and security watches your every move. We went out most nights and when we came in we made sure we were quiet so we did not disturb anyone and the one night we never went out and was in bed ill all day, we got a complaint and got made to go down to reception.

Salou is really good but would not return to this hotel.

Comments:  When we got off the coach i though oh my god what have we done, you are greeted around the corner from the hotel self catering appartments that looked like something from the dark ages, as we walked 100 yards my mind was in a state of panic, however what a great surprise as we neared the hotel.

It looked great from the outside but was even more impresive from in the inside, with its marble floor and very friendly staff.

The room was basic but comfortable and was cleaned daily.

Downside was the dinner arrangements you are put to sit beside total strangers which made it very awkward and we ate out every night.

Food choice was ok and so was breakfast.

Theme Park was great.

I had my wallet stolen and hotel i felt could have been a little more helpful as could the civil guard.

We have booked to go again this year 2008 for another two weeks as it was so good.

Comments:  Stayed at this hotel for 1 week half board in August.

The hotel is very well presented and is pretty clean. The pool is fab and the location is great, just a short walk from the shops, bars and beach and had good transport links to Barcelona and portaventura.

Staff are friendly and willing to help when they can understand what you are asking, most understood and had a good grasp of English although the night staff were less welcoming.

The rooms are a fair size and the bathroom is lovely, bath is very deep and fills very quickly so don’t leave it running. Rooms can be cleaned daily and are usually cleaned to a good standard.

Considering how close the hotel is to everything it is quite quiet as long as you have no one making lots of noise in the next room. The night entertainment didn’t finish till 12ish so don’t try to sleep before then as its loud.

The food is a real let down as are the hotels dining arrangements. You are allocated a time and table for dinner which wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t sit you with complete strangers to eat if there’s only 2 of you. This makes eating uncomfortable and truthfully the food was rubbish.

Breakfast was not worth getting up for unless you were the first there and dinner was average but due to the seating we ate out most nights. I would highly recommend the brown cow across the road which is lovely, have a special every day and a real Sunday lunch. Food is cheap enough to buy but a waste if your meant to be half board.

Overall a lovely hotel and Salou it great for families and couples looking for a relaxing time with the odd night out, the only problem was the food and lack of a rep.

Comments:  Must say when I arrived at Delfin Park I thought we'd got the wrong hotel, after going for the cheapest hotel available it was shocking to find out it was one of the most beautiful.

The staff were extremely friendly although most talked very little english so singing was the height of communication but was extremely fun.

The entertainment varied everynite but the karaoke on a sunday nite was def the best and thats sayin sumthin. However the extremely handy location to the good pubs and clubs made up for this. The kids disco was always fun and the music extremely catchy.

Food was fantastic and there was always stuff to suit everyone and always plenty of everything. although breakfast was far too early... or too late in r case and we only managed to make it there twice after a long nite up at Snoepys.

Security is very strict in the hotel but after making friends with the 2 security guards they laid off a bit although we did get shouted at 4 singin in r room a few times..and this was before 11pm. They did make the place feel a lot safer though as you never knew hu'd b following u home at nite.

After reading a few reviews on this as a 'family hotel'. I wasn't expecting it to be aS lively as it was. But thankfully it was full of groups of young people on holiday and I would strongly recommend it for its aforadable price and handy location. Even if it is tight on security if ur out till 7 in the morn every nite you wont even notice them and if ur coming home from a nite out their always up for a good chat.

Amazin hotel...amazin place...amazin people.

Def go back in the future!

Comments:  I came to the Delfin Park just as the season had started over there. I went with 5 of my friends all aged 18. When we arrived the hotel looked very nice and we weren’t disappointed when we went inside.

Our rooms were nice and were cleaned everyday if requested to a high standard. The hotel is situated 5 minutes from the beach and 2 minutes from salous main nightlife.

When we arrived we had missed breakfast we went over the road to the fox and hounds pub-couldn’t fault this but if you go there everyday the menu becomes boring.

The restaurant in the hotel is clean but the food awful at dinnertime. It’s is the same food every morning and dinner. The breakfast is average but the evening meal is not very warm. We found it quite hard to choose what we wanted as there wasn’t much choice so if you have young children be careful.

In the morning there is a rush for the sun beds and there are not enough for the capacity of the hotel.
Overall the hotel is rated a 3 star and we would say it was but if the food was of a better standard then maybe it could be a 4 star.

Comments:  We just had a fantastic week in Salou. We went 3 years ago and this time was even better. The hotel was lovely. Nice and clean. Cleaners come in to your room every day. The staff are really friendly. There is a great choice of food on offer, but as I'm used to self catering we ate out most days. You are set a meal time. Ours was 7pm which is a little too early for me to eat. The pool is beautiful but absolutely freezing. It put most people off going in. The only downside to the hotel is the entertainment. It was mostly families staying but the entertainment seemed to be based on pensioners.

The theme park is fantastic. We went 4 times in our stay. So much to see. You have to go more than once to make sure you haven't missed anything. See the show in China Town it's amazing. The Wild West Show is great and so is the Sea Odessy. The new ride though called furious was out of order quite a few times, we were lucky we had a go when we first went into the theme park.

I would recommend anyone have a holiday in Delfin Park.

Comments:  Have just come back from Delfin Park in Salou. Lovely hotel. Ideally situated. Friendly staff. There is a great deal of choice food wise but not to our taste so we ate quite a lot at the brown cow opposite which was great.

The hotel was immaculate but the entertainment was not too good, which did not spoil our holiday because there was so much else to do in Salou.

The only thing I can say about the hotel was that the swimming pool was absolutely freezing. Very clean though and cleaned daily.

There was maid service every day. The rooms were very clean, although quite small.

I would definitely go to Delfin Park again but on a self catering basis.

Don't forget to visit the theme park. We went four days of our stay and it was absolutely brill. Get your tickets before you go, a lot cheaper.

Comments:  Oh my gosh!! This hotel is absolutely fantastic...I normally stay self catering when I come to Salou, but this year my friends decided they would try half board!!

The food was excellent! The staff are top notch will do anything to help you! The hotel is absolutely stunning; the pool itself is gorgeous with its fountain feature!

Very close to all local amenities. Not far from thee park but 100 yards into town near to all the bars and clubs but set far enough back to avoid the noise and hustle and bustle!

10 out of 10

Comments:  This hotel is absolutely fantastic...To be fair we couldn't really fault it at all! The hotel is stunning inside and out! I first of all had my doubts as I wasn't sure about the blueness of the hotel balconies...How silly of me! I have visited Salou on many an occasion and work within the travel industry. So when my friends came in wanting to travel to Salou I was over the moon. When I entered the hotel, my mouth nearly dropped to the floor. It was dark and there was entertainment on around the pool and the fountain at the pool was still running.

There was evening entertainment on every night. I walked into the hotel and it was all marble decor and very relaxing looking. Once we had checked in, we went to our room which was a basic hotel room. This hotel is very central within the resort - a 5 minute walk to the beach and 20 mins to the themepark. Also 5 minutes to the nearest bus stop. There are a mass of shops and bars around this hotel. It is just set back off the main drag so central enough to have all the glory of the night life but also quiet enough so you don't hear the noise of any road traffic or young clubbers :)

The food was different. Don't get me wrong, I never expected British food. It just seems a lot greasier than what you get back home. Breakfast was a mixture of the same foods every morning. At night it was a little different. There were always different meals every night, it just seemed it was always chips you got with the meal. There could have been a bigger selection. There are two set times that you can go down to dinner and you are allocated a table as well.

I personally would recommend this hotel to older couples even though there were families there with younger children and there is a small play park I personally thought we were looked down on as we were three young ladies at the ages of 19 & 20. Definitely for a relaxing holiday. There was always a life guard around the pool as well. The staff at this hotel are marvellous, very attentive.

Comments:  I was pleasantly surprised when we saw this hotel. My husband thought it was a 4 star hotel rather a 3 star!

Reception area was very stylish, rooms were clean and of adequate size. There was always something tasty to be found at the buffet restaurant.

My son loved the 3 swimming pools and kid’s playground. The hotel is very central shops on your doorstep and the Fox and Hound across the road provided very tasty ENGLISH meals if you fancy a change.

We were very central for everywhere, right in the heart of the resort. I would definitely use this hotel again.
