Hotel is very well appointed, directly overlooking the beach. Rooms are spacious and furnished to a very high standard. Staff are welcoming and friendly. There are plenty of activities on offer and the hotel spa is a must for a bit of pampering. There is 24hour room... more

Myself and partner spent a wonderful week at the Annabelle in August and had a fabulous time. The hotel is beautiful, situated right on the beach and close enough to the shops and restaurants but in a quiet spot of the beach. The attention to detail is second to none.... more

We spent our honeymoon at the Annabelle in September 2007. We were a little disappointed that we did not receive an upgrade. The room was comfortable but dated. The facilities at the hotel are superb and the food exceptional. The swimming pool area, sun decks, and spa are... more

I stayed in the Annabelle in a large group, as we were there for a wedding which took place in the hotel grounds, the pool area and gardens are stunning and the location is ideal for the beach and main town centre. The food was quite repetitive and room service extortionate... more

5 stars? You must be joking! Rooms are very old, they need serious updating. The service is very very slow. The food is tasteless and lacks any imagination, we ate out on several occasions. The sea is next to Paphos port, so not too healthy swimming there. It is very noisy... more

We got married in Cyprus, staying at the Annabelle. (We got married at Pathos town hall and then had our meal back at the Annabelle). The hotel is nice and service superb however our room was disappointing. We were advised we would get an up grade, which we didn't and the... more

We went to Paphos to get married and splashed out on the Annabelle but it was worth every penny. Maid service twice a day, fresh flowers and a poem each night on your pillow, iced towels by the pool when it gets too hot - the list of luxuries is endless. Staff and guests... more

Very Disappointed definately not 5 star
I have just returned from a 7 night stay at The Annabelle with my husband and two children. We opted for a family room which sleeps 4, my oldest child being 19 years old and the youngest 2 (yes quite a gap I know). We only booked the holiday 3 weeks before departure and it cost £3,500 inc flights for bed and breakfast. When we were shown to our room I had to fight the tears back, I could not believe how basic it was for what we had paid, it was no more than a 3 star room with a single bed that sagged in the middle for my eldest child,... more
No better hotel in Paphos!
The Annabelle has it all for those vacationing in Paphos! The location is fantastic. It's right on the water and beach, in the heart of the tourist area. Everything is within walking distance, including the fort, archaeological park, and plenty of shops and restaurants (Starbucks is right across the street!). We had a deeply discounted room, so it didn't have the fanciest balcony or best view -- but it still had a nice view of the fort and seaside! The room was immaculate, the beds were very comfortable, and I liked the marble floors (who... more
Oh! What a Lovely Place
Thornaby Cleveland, England. Stayed at the Annabelle in March 2007 for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. ( The wife went to Scarborough- only joking) What a beautiful hotel, very friendly staff, and excellent food. We spoilt ourselves a littler and booked a Deluxe seaview room, lovely furnishings and magnificent views. The staff were the most friendly and helpful I have met for a long time, nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for the suprise "anniiversay cake". Could not fault the resdaraunt food or service.<br... more
welcoming, warm and friendly
This is a lovely hotel, with plenty of open communal space and gorgeous views over the sea and towards Pafos harbour. The staff are always polite, knowledgeable and eager to help. They keep records of everyones stay so they know when you return - a nice touch. We have never had reason to complain, so i can't commet on how they deal with situations. I believe the hotel has been redecorated in the last couple of years, certainly the noisy in-room air conditioners have gone, and the lobby looks a little more modern. The gardens are truely... more
Annabelle the Great
After reading all the reviews of the Annabelle , we were rather worried that we had booked this hotel , but it was recommended to us by quite a few people , so in the end we trusted their opinion . The staff at the hotel were ALWAYS friendly and only one member of staff ,who was in the spa and english , spoke in a ' could not care less' manner. The reception . looked like a reception in a well to do hotel , we liked it and did not find anything to complain about. The room , we stayed in a deluxe s/v room , was good size with great... more
What a disappointment!!
We stayed at the hotel in September 2006 when we got married in Paphos. What a huge disappointment. We had stayed in better rooms in 3 star hotels - cramped with dated decor and noisy air conditioning. The bedlinen and towels were worn and tired and despite reporting a blockage in the bath to staff - nothing was done to rectify the situation. The passenger lift was in a dangerous condition and dropped slightly when people got into it. The staff at the hotel (with a few exceptions) were indifferent and quite often aggressive -... more
Great Honeymoon
We had booked a week on honeymoon at the Annabelle, and after reading some of the reviews on tripadvisor we were a bit concerned before going. However upon arrival we were not disappointed. We were brought cold towels to freshen-up at check-in along with a glass of complimentary sparkling wine. We had our room upgraded to a Superior Sea View room, and a bottle of cold sparkling wine on the balcony. The room was nice - nothing amazing - but certainly not shabby or tired. We didn't see any of the basic rooms, so can't comment on them... more
Understated Elegance
This was our third visit to the Annabelle and we were not disapointed. We had opted this time for a side sea view (previously we had the deluxe sea view). The room was in the wing overlooking the almyra hotel, it was absolutly fine, we had been anxious as we have not been to the annabelle for a couple of years and some of the reviews on trip adviser appeared quite negative especially about the rooms. I found the housekeeping prompt and the room we had was in no way tired, it looked as if it may have recently been decorated. The pool area is... more
Annabelle problems
First the Annabelle Hotel is not a 5 star Hotel! Why they pretend is a mystery. On checking in they offered my wife and myself a room that would have disgraced a 3 star hotel. On rejecting the room the reception offered us a room in the newer part of the hotel with side sea views that we accepted, the first had views of the hotel satelite dishes. I was not alone in complaining, one morning a lady was crying in reception after the room her family was allocated had not been of the standard expected. The reception staff tried to explain that... more
Understated Elegance
Well where do I start?! We have just returned from our third wonderful visit to The Annabelle in 4 years. We were greeted upon our arrival by one of the long standing doormen and bellboys, welcoming us back to the hotel & making us instantly feel very special. We had our refreshing ice cool towel and fruit cocktail to start the settling in process, one of which here takes only a few minutes. Our room was a deluxe sea facing well worth the extra cost with a large balcony & a large bathroom with seperate shower. Every part of the... more
