What a fantastic hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean, lots of choice on the buffet meals.
Facilities were excellent for my son who has a disability and uses a wheelchair although the lifts are a bit slow. The hotel management were polite and very friendly nothing was to much trouble for them, even when we asked to use the swimming pool they came straight away to uncover it and clean it every day.
We would revisit the Hotel Victoria again.

Location; easy stroll to either Old Town & harbour or Levante Beach, our room was 1903 on the top floor [19th] looking directly towards the Old Town, excellent views seaward across the other bay, but alongside a busy road where the sound of traffic [frequent snarle-ups with plenty horn blowing], late night revellers and emptying of bottle banks in the early hours was loudly transmitted even to our lofty room. On the balcony there was a regular whaft of drains which could have been from any of the nearby hotels.
To what we usually experienced, the bedrooms were huge, bathroom equally large, the higher floors only had four bedrooms per floor, though the toilet and bidet were awkwardly sited. A major gripe was the none working heating control in the bedroom, we found that it was nessessary to have the balcony door wide open every night, all night, in an attempt to cool the room, it was not the time to switch off the heating yet in Spain and when running there was a constant low rumble sound in the room.
There is no critisism of the staff or cleaners, the Hotel was very clean, however when we come to catering this was the major letdown, we have always used 4* accomodation and know what is expected for that standard, the Victoria must have been on a very tight budget as we soon discovered that almost all items were to make a regular monotonous appearance on the counters, if items had any sort of taste it would have been an asset, but it was the same bland garbage starting with different coloured dishwater they called soup, main course usually had veal on offer and desserts always included two bi-coloured sandwich cakes, differing by having the chocolate coloured layer at the top on one and at the bottom on the other, their star attraction was a glass of blancmange with a biscuit sat on top, no sign of the cream cakes of typical 4* Hotels.
would I return to the Victoria ? definately not, it needs reclassifying down to a 3*
