The Ruidor was clesn and had friendly staff the food was good quality but there was no variety and not a lot of choice chicken nuggets in an adults only Hotel and lots of fish . The evening entertainment was great Ashley worked really hard to ensure everyone enjoyed the evenings .

We stayed for 2 nights last week the hotel is just off the avda mediterano very close to the British pub and booze section of Benidorm we knew this before booking so knew what to expect as far as location The hotel is popular with the mature set and is very english so dont expect a spainish dish on the bufffet menu Rooms are very clean and simply furnished Bathroom fully functional clean and modern fixtures Had to pal a deposit of 12€ for the TV remote reflects on the type of Guest they must get that stel TV remotes youdo however get the deposit back. Public rooms are clean and well lighted the pool area is fairly small. Food at the hotel is very bland and limited choices at all meal times This hotel is part of the med player group and they have a sister hotel the Rio Park which only has 2 stars (this has 3 Stars) the prices for each are about the same but in our opinion the Rio Park is bay far rhe better hotel in both public rooms,food standard,and pool area In short if you have the choice stay at the Rio Park
The Ruidor is very good from SENORAWestMidlands
Small to medium sized hotel, only eight floors. Three to four minutes from the pristine beach, under ten minutes walk to the Wednesday and Sunday markets and about a mile along the promenade to The Old Town. Food is excellent with a great choice, suited to English tastes. All meals are served buffet style with a relaxed atmosphere and well layed out restaurant. Staff cheerful and efficient. Rooms not over large but clean and tidy with clean linen daily. Helpful reception staff. Internet facilities in reception I found very useful at one euro for ten minutes. The only downside of staying at this hotel was the noise from the adjacent 'nightspot' The Black Chicken, if your room overlooks this 'dive'. It may not be too bad in summer when the airconditioning is on and you can close the balcony door. However I would recommend taking earplugs with you. The other side of the hotel would not be any more advantageous as there is a nightclub being refurbished there and due to re-open in March. However knowing of these niggles I would still return to The Riudor. It is the first time I have been to Benidorm and it was a good choice of hotel and one I would recommend.
Great find for the not so young from shoestring-UK
Thompsons exclusive hotel so it doesn't show up in many searches. Like many others I booked this from an internet auction on a last minute winter sun, full board basis, flying from Birmingham. I was probably the youngest person there (and I will be 50 this year)...not to worry the folk were all young at heart and loving the well run hotel, very well done food and a surprisingly sun filled week in January. Couldn't get into the entertainment (nice for the older ones) but the hotel is excellently located for nearby venues. Not bothered by the builders much but would have preferred a southwest facing room to make the most of the sun. My side was in the shadow of the block next door Dozens of regulars and I would definitely go back if the deal was right. Fairly good market 15 minutes walk away Wed & Sat, leather goods as always...almost worth going just to buy shoes for the family especially if you like to stock up on duty frees as well. Transfers at £15 are good value...it is a long journey form the airport. I shared an unlicenced taxi bandit on the way out 10euros but jumped on the coach coming back (much less stress). Buses still only run every couple of hours which seems daft so get 4 people at the bus stop to share a cab at 40-50 euros and go to your door.

stayed in the Riudor in Dec for 14 nights, fantastic. rooms lovely, food fine, got a bit fed up of eating all the time but great. right in the middle of the action, next door to the black chicken which has got to be seen to be believed, karaoke in the afternoon, people really enjoying themselves, cheap beer fab atmosphere. entertainment in hotel not wonderful but outside in the streets loads of choice. all staff very nice, older people there in dec but so what they were all enjoying a beer in the afternoon, hope we can do it again.

Stayed in Riudor with parents and friend. Me and friend had our own room but it was conviniently located next to my parents. This was my first trip to Bendidorm but I would definately recommend it and will be returning for my birthday this year. The location of this hotel was perfect. We parked the car and didn't need to use it at all during our stay. Entertainment everywhere all night and thousands of clubs and bars. Happy hours were also easy to come by! One big bonus of this hotel was the food and the friendliness of the staff. I am a very fussy eater but the food was great.

This hotel was clean and good value for money. Entertainment wasnt too good. Food was quite good. A lot of older people staying here so good if you want a quiet holiday, I did have the misfortune of having a stag party either side of me for three nights which wasnt good. But if you are looking for a clean hotel with good food at a good price GO FOR IT
Riudor hotel from Compot
This hotel is in a very good position, the only thing which spoils it is the Black Chicken. Where karaoke is beaten out afternoon and night, not good artists but drunken artists who don't sing but shout. One cannot have a siesta and one cannot sleep at night due to the noise. I would advise anyone who likes to enjoy nightlife and catch a wink in the afternoon not to book this hotel. But if you smoke it does provide a smoking area in the hotel.
good value, good location from pugtrump
Stayed 3 nights at the Riudor with my cousin. Spotlessly clean tourist level accomodation with everything one needs for a budget stay. Very good food, fresh fruit, salads, vegestables, well cooked seasonal produce. Pool area clean, value unbeatable. Noise from adjacent bar went on until 4am, so if you dont plan to be among it ask for a quieter room.
What A Great Hotel from markh1969
Me and my wife have just got back from spending 10 wonderful days in this hotel. this has got to be the nicest and most friendly hotel we have stayed in. every member of staff was very friendly and polite. the rooms were spacious and very clean. the restaurant had a varied and plentiful menu to cater for all tastes. the pool was quite large with plenty of sun loungers for everyone. the hotel is situated right in the middle of all the bars and nightlife, so not far to walk to find some excellent entertainment. we are already planning our next visit in 2008, and can`t wait.
