I recently stayed in the Riudor hotel. I was very impressed with the overall cleanliness and standard of the hotel.
I have stayed in a few other hotels in Benidorm but this was definitely one of the best it is a small hotel and very central, only a 2 minute walk from the beach and also very close to the Square, where all the nightlife is.
The food was very nice and the hotel rooms were always kept very clean and tidy.
I would definitely go back to the Riudor in the future.

We have just come back from spending a most excellent Xmas and New Year at the Riudor.
This was our second Christmas at this great hotel, the food and entertainment was very good.
We have been to this hotel a number of times in the summer months and found it most
enjoyable. I would highly recommend it.
If there is one small complaint, it is the chairs around the pool area are a bit uncomfortable.

Have just recently come back from Benidorm. I stayed at the Riudor Hotel for 4 weeks.
have been their a lot of times but this hotel has got to be one of the best, as it is one of the smaller hotels you don’t get lost in it.
you seem to make friends much more quickly and the amount of people who come back year after year speaks for itself.
ALL of the staff go out of there way to make you enjoy your stay here. the food is absolutely great with a wonderful choice to chose from I think the Chef and his kitchen staff deserve 10 out of 10.
I have never stayed in the same hotel twice before in Benidorm but I will stay here on my next visit.

The Hotel Riudor is situated conveniently close to the beach - literally only a 5 minute walk. We found the beach thoroughly beautiful with a wide expanse of fine sand. There were ample sunbeds and although the beach was busy at the time we travelled - you would still have no difficulty in finding a good spot to enjoy the sun.
The hotel itself was generally satisfactory. The foyer looks a little dated, as does the bar area and restaurant. A bit of a refurb of these areas would not go a miss. Having said that, they are kept spotlessly clean.
The rooms were surprisingly modern and generally offered a good level of space for 2 adults. There were families at the hotel with small children and it could well be a little cramped with more than 2 people in the standard size rooms.
Food was plentiful BUT was probably our main grumble. Everything was either deep fried or tossed in butter! Far too fatty for our liking and we frankly couldn’t wait to get home for a reasonable meal. To be fair, this type of cooking might be to some peoples taste so maybe we were a little harsh.
The bar staff were on the whole friendly and helpful. Drinks were reasonably priced at around 3.50 euro for a spirit and mixer - be warned though the measures are HUGE and you could well find yourself tipsy on one or two drinks.
Evening entertainment was poor - it consisted of mainly ageing singers who appeared on the poolside terraced area for an hour or so. There were no entertainment facilities at all for children - so I would not recommend this hotel for families who are looking for children’s activities. Most of our evenings were spent trying to keep the high number of mosquitoes at bay!
The pool was a reasonable size and the water was salt based. The number of sunbeds seemed to be generally fine - but they were more like sun 'chairs' than beds - and were not very comfortable at all.
As for a resort, Benidorm was not really for us. We knew it was a high rise area before we travelled but we didn’t really expect it to be so dominated by British influence. There was no evidence that we were in Spain at all - with the exception of the sun! This might have been due to the hotel location - it was to the west side of the resort and was too far to walk into the old town. The only way in was by Bus or Taxi. It did get quite depressing walking past strings of bars offering 'UK Soaps' and pints of lager for 1.30 euros. For an area which appears to have had originally such natural beauty it is a true shame the way it has been blatantly over developed.
Would we go again - sorry but no - not to the hotel or anywhere else in Benidorm.

This hotel is amazing, I love the place so much that I refuse to go to any other hotel in Benidorm. The hotel itself isn't huge it only has 168 rooms which is reasonable, every room is cleaned everyday that includes towels etc. The rooms are spacious, they usually have 2 single beds which can be pushed together to make a double and if you need a triple room an extra bed can be added without loosing too much space, every room has its own balcony!
Now for the best bit the food! ok so we all know that when we go away we like to have great food well in the Riudor the food is Fantastic there is a wide selection of food, breakfast is beautiful and you have the choice between white and brown bread too which is an added bonus.
Entertainment is good some amazing acts like George Glenn, Zodiac and many more, I will say that as an 18 year old the entertainment sometimes caters more for the older generation but that really doesn't bother me because just outside the hotel there is Talk Of The Coast, The Tavern and Valentino's if that's not to you liking just around the corner is the Sports Bar and Morgans (Tavern) I think and around the other corner there is The Western Saloon and John and Joseph's.
The staff at the Riudor are fantastic nothing is too much trouble for them and if there is something that you want that has run out in the restaurant just ask and they will get a new try, just don't be afraid to ask because they don't bite! I have been to the hotel now 3 times and everytime I have had a very warm welcome and have made many friends at the hotel. I love the hotel and am visiting again in January 2008 and am looking forward to it! I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice relaxing holiday with friendly staff at the hotel.
