Advice: Dont need to go twice

" brilliant hotel, brilliant town! "
Submitted By: andyhelen2000The food was of a well cooked standard, and they have a show cooking area, where you can watch the chefs cook your dinner, we tried as much of the local menu as we could, but a lot of it was obviously of an british nature, we tried paella one night, and some woman looked at us, as if we were eating her young, but you always encounter small minded people.
entertainment was a bit flimsy, the staff try there best, but with benidorm, as it is, we never staqyed at the hotel mor than twice.
I would recommend that if your traveling to benidorm, please be extra vigilent about pick pockets, and muggings, we witnessed a mugging on the road that follows levante beach, listen to your reps advice, and and dont switch off, just because your abroad.
all in all and truly brilliant holiiday, and have booked to stay at the rio again!!!!
Advice: its a brilliant lively place, but watch your wallets.
Activities: terre mitca, terra natura, aqualandia, jeep safari, and the cumberland bar karioke palace

" Please Read, This Is a Realistic Review! "
Submitted By: gemma123We got to the Rio Park Hotel and the atmosphere was very relaxed and tranquil. The head of our family informed the receptionist about out entrance, and we were soon escorted to our rooms.
Staff;
The majority of the staff were lovely and were happy to help, but the minority of the staff were slightly arrogant and could't really be bothered.
Rooms;
The rooms wer adequate, and they had some lovely views of the ongoing relevation of the pool. Although some repair work was under construction, the sounds coming from the site were loud and disturbing.
Catering;
There was a good selection of foods, although lots of the main courses contained pork, ham or bacon in some form, which would not be suitable for religious groups. Although there was a wide variety of foods to choose from, there wasn't a good selection for vegetarians, young children or fussy eaters. Myself, I lived off chips for breakfast, dinner and tea for the week we were there, which didn't appeal to me.
Entertainment/Facilities;
Entertainment for children and young teenagers needs to be vastly improved, as the entertainment was at the target audeince of the older generation, for example: 'The Full Monty'. Even if some family members were to watch the adult entertainment, and the audience were to leave their kids in the pool or computer room, you would still be able to see the entertainment going on between the glass doors. On the other hand, the adult entertainment was performed at a later time, and there were daily quizes that took place and staff shows that the whole family could enjoy, for example: 'Goldilocks and the 3 bears'. In the hotel, there was a computer room, which held about 20 computers and was ran by euros. There was also a pool table, which again was ran by money, 1 euro a game. There were 3 phone booths located in the reception/lounge to save walking down to the street and so you didn't have to leave the hotel.
Overall;
Having said all this, we are going back for another week in April 2009, and we are looking forward it.
Advice: If you get blinded easily, watch out for the OAP
Activities: Old Benidorm, although it is a fair walk from the hotel.

" Amazing first holiday with the girls "
Submitted By: angel1989The pool area is huge and we always found room as we were usually the last ones down there, there were always enough beds around too. Being a young group of girls i did expect more entertainment at the side of the pool , not just for us but for all ages but there was nothing.
The staff around the hotel were always friendly and help full and so were the people who stayed in the hotel. There were all sifferent types of people there families, elderly, young. Although you could start to see a difference within the ages there coming closer to august, there were alot more youngsters coming in. The reps were amazing, they were so helpfull, you must go to the indroductory day aswell theres so much to be done for all ages. We payed for two bar rawls with them and went to 2 parks aswell, they gave us directions and everything.
The food was also quite nice, some of the girls are fussy buggers so they just moaned but i did agree some days there just wasn't any food out that actually went together as a meal. But overall it was enjoyable what do you expect if your fussy. Alot of the time though we did go to a fish and chip restaurant just down the yellow brick road which was really nice i recommend this.
Benidorm it self wasn't as dirty or ruff as i imagined and it helped our hotel was nice too. The beach was clean and the people were always friendly too.
I had an amazing time and recommend to any young girls to go to the parks terra mitica and the waterpark and to even go on the bar crawls your not forced to do anything either.
Have a nice holiday xxxx
Advice: good for all ages/familys- august more for youngsters any other time for the elderly
Activities: fish and chip restaurant on the yellow brick road

Submitted By: andysWhen we arrived at the riopark it looked lovley very modern inside and out. The reception was spotless clean reception staff seemed friendly enough.
We were treated very well and very quickly.
Rooms:
Rooms seemed ok at a glance clean enough but very small they were very basic needed a lick of paint wires were hanging out of the bedside light t.v was rubbish if you like watching the news all the time this would suit you.
Restraunt:
I was quite dissapointed with the food in the restraunt as we had 4 children who are very fussy eaters it was quite difficult to find them anything to eat as they do not cater for children they had to eat chips every evening for dinner then had to go out elsewhere for something more substantual. The staff in the restraunt were very abrupt too so were the pensioners who stayed there. The food was just thrown together hash browns for dinner?????????. Dirty glasses bits of food on the plate from breakfast time....... Breakfast was nice although it was floating in greese funny shaped sasuages though.
Entertainment:
Load of [--] to be honest plastic chairs it looked like a youth club with grannies in. The pensioners who had been going there for years took over the place the ruined it. They did not like the children running about enjoying themselves. this hotel is not good for kids its for oap's

Good for: Beach
