Just entering the really elaborate hall you realise that the hotel in question belongs to a refined category. The receptionists and the porters are very competent and kind and are always ready to help you.

The rooms are spacious and equipped with nearly everything that a tourist who is looking for relaxation could wish for: air conditioning; satellite TV, fridge bar, hydro massage bath and wall hairdryer. There is actually a small safe attached to the wall where you can leave your personal effects, even if I did not feel like leaving anything.

The room plugs are Italian, but that is no problem if you remember to bring an adaptor from home and actually the room is so well equipped that you will not need to bring anything from home. Every room also has its own balcony, which has a breathtaking view of the Edna Volcano and the beautiful sea. This is the same view which you can see while you are dining on the large panoramic terrace. The terrace is equipped with an open-air bar, which is open until the early hours, umbrellas, tables, and deckchairs. The only thing missing is a swimming pool, but you cant have everything.

The food is very good quality even if I found the breakfast rather poor. I must admit that I was not expecting a lot from this hotel, also because a preconceived idea that in such well known tourist resorts you cannot find wonderful refined places. I am very happy to have been proven wrong! I recommend it to everyone!
