I stayed at this hotel in May 08, It was my 4th time in Sharm, having stayed previously in a 3* and 5*, I would say that this one was probably the best, with the location etc. Only downside, its not on the beach, but its only a 5minute walk away! Have to get there early... more

This place is a joke and the only surprise is that our stay was not the subject of a Jeremy Beadle prank. On checking in the three of us were taken to our room which had no windows and no balcony. Room 1114 I think so if you get that checking in, unlucky. We changed our room the next day which to be fair to them they did hasssle free and the other room had a non-openable window and a balcony but all balconies at this hotel are tiny - you barely fit two people on them, never mind three. Hotel is well loctaed, just 2 minutes walk from the beach, rooms are off a good size, but balconeys are a little small. the only negitive point of the holiday was the loud music at night, music was loud during teh day but that is not really a issue, but at night it would be on until about 4am and it was always Russian rave music. the rep is off little help with this as he keeps on reporting it to the manager but he does very little to turn it down. the DJ is a complete joke, he can't mix and thinks putting a CD on is djing!!!<br... more

We stayed at the Kahramana in early September this year and have to say were a bit nervous on arrival after hearing other reports of blasting music round the pool all day, when we were looking for a relaxing holiday. We even considered changing our hotel but im so glad we didnt. We found the hotel to be in a great location, friendly and spotlessly clean. A lovely hotel, which I couldn't find any fault with. As soon as we got to the hotel, our suitcases were taken by the staff all the way to our room. They all speak very good English and the hotel was kept in pristine condition. The rooms are standard but provide everything needed for a holiday including a mini fridge for your water. All of the balconies face inwards towards the pool, however there are plenty of flowers and nice areas to look onto instead of just the pool. A great experience, and would definitely go again. First the positives,This hotel is in a superb location. The rooms are spotless and we stayed in a recently refurbished room. The hotel seems to be undergoing some improvements as they were painting the main building on the tallest step ladder I have ever seen! Most of the reviews on here are fair and so we had heard about the loud music before we arrived but I thought, no problem I can stand music around the pool. This hotel is in an excellent location. Only 1 minute from the main shopping strip with bars,restaurants and banks. Some really good shops. The private beach the hotel uses is only 4/5 minute walk from the hotel and has a couple of excellent coral reefs to go snorkelling in. The hotel itself is very clean and tidy and the staff are very helpful. These guys who do the cleaning or work in the bar probably earn as much in a month as we do in a day or two. Got back two days ago, Hotel is in perfect location to main Street and 2 min walk to private beach, Stayed half board which was good, nice breakfast , variety eggs bread etc, dinner was a bit repetitive, ate out during day, pool was good , with good music ( sometimes a bit on loud side ) overall its great value hotel, especially location and would highly recommend, take care and enjoy if u do go :-)))) more

Returned 3 days ago after spending 2 weeks here with my partner and our 3 boys of 12, 15 and 16. We had a fab time and the hotel was a great central place to stay. The rooms, yet basic were in good clean condition. They have a fridge to keep your essential water in and the rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels left. our first visit to sharm el sheikh was everything we expected and more. We had a 1 min walk to the strip where there was plenty of restuarants to choose from, shops galore and very lively as the strip became alive at night with so much to see and do.
