My partner and I were very impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness of this lovely hotel. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and the service at the pool-side bar and at the main restaurant was excellent.
The resident masseuse was also fantastic! The breakfast was basic but plentiful and the rest of the day they had a nice range of Bulgarian dishes to try (I recommend a Shopska Salad) as well as a few Western stalwarts.
The local lager was always cold (Kaminitza is the best!) and the food and drink very cheap on the whole. Reasonably close to the very lively and loud resort centre, the location meant you could get the best of both worlds and relax in the peaceful garden by the pool by day, and join the fun in the resort centre by night.
The only real problem we had was when some other guests at our hotel came in loudly at 4.30am and woke us up, but that only happened on one occasion and the hotel staff and resort reps dealt with our complaint with sympathy and efficiency.
Apart from this, we had no complaints about the hotel at all and would seriously consider going back.
The resort main strip however, was not really to our taste with most of the bars pumping out VERY LOUD dance music all evening so that a walk down there was really an assault on the ear-drums!
There was the usual pushy restaurant staff literally trying to pull you in the door, but a polite "no, thank you" and a quick side-step usually did the trick there.
Also watch out for taxi drivers and other dodgy types over-charging you - a bit of common sense will get you by fine though!
We didn't really visit the beach as the facilities at the hotel suited us but it looked clean, if not very busy! It was also very warm when we were there and there was no natural shade on the beach.
All in all, though a FAB holiday in a great hotel!

Excellent value for money. As it was a small hotel you felt more like a guest than a number like you can do at a larger hotel. For breakfast there was always a more than plentiful choice of cereals, fresh fruit, meats, cheese, bread and drinks which were always being refreshed.
Staff were all very friendly especially “Tony” who owned the bar outside by the pool where we spent many a late evening drinking and relaxing.
Only thing we found different to how it was described in the brochure was the distance to the beach, it was a little further than described.
The hotel is situated in a nice quiet area but is still only a matter of a couple of minutes walk away to the markets and the main shopping area
We were that pleased that we’ve already booked up to go back here for next year.
