Akti Beach Tourist Village

Just spent 2 fantastic weeks at the atki beach village and had a brilliant time requested a pool veiw before we arrived but couldn't have anticipated the view we got it was breath taking
All the staff were warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
Entertainment on daily for all age groups and creates a good atmosphere with everyone getting to know each other.
Later evening entertainment includes mini quizes and bingo but not as we know it(so funny)
Was given an oppotunity to upgrade to half board paying for 3 days and getting 1 free and really glad we did the food was outstanding with something for everyone the only problem being too much to choose from!!
Being my first time in Cyprus it has definatly made me want to return and will be back at the Atki again would highly recommend to everyone this is one of the best places i have stayed in top class hotel

Just returned from a week B&B at Akti Beach, booked through Olympic Holidays. We flew with EuroCypria airline from Manchester. Despite the poor reviews on many websites the flight was ontime in both directions. Only thing I would say is to take plenty of drinks on the flight as they only did 1 drinks service at the start of a 4 and a half hour flight!
We couldn't fault this for a holiday destination. There are no bars or tavernas in the immediate vicinity but the hotel is situated about half way between Paphos and Coral Bay and regular buses run to both from nearby (cost about £1 per journey). Food onsite was very good value - it is well worth upgrading to B&B as there is an extensive breakfast buffet. For evening meals there is a choice of an all inclusive buffet (approx £10 per adult) or the taverna a la carte menu whcih is slightly more expensive. There is an onsite mini market which was well stocked for those self catering. The pools are lovely with 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool and a kids splashpool.

absolutly brill!!!! we loved every minuit of it, it is a bit out of the way from all the shops and harbour but who cares?
i will say do not buy anything from the little shop its really expensive, but we had the best time ever we met so many nice people not just staff but from all over the uk.
i would recomend this holiday to any one,
if you want to use the phone do not use the one in reception,
wait till 10pm in there time and use your hotel room one its so much cheaper.
michell and danella are lovely aswell as sam and sadji they are just some of the staff in the apartments.
but you will definatly love it, we did.
the only problem we face now is trying to find somewhere thats going to match the friendliness of this place, i would go back but i like to visit different places each year.

just wanted to add to the comments, we stayed at the Akti for 1 week, we wanted somewhere quiet while we were looking for places to get married next year, this place was fantastic and will be recommending it for somewhere our guests may want to stay for duration of their holiday, the staff were all very friendly and encouraging, the location and setup was perfect, with buses that stopped outside the front only costing you 1.35 euros each way. The entertainment was very good with something different every evening, and bingo every night was good entertainment in itself, well worth going to have a look even if not playing, you'll see what i mean, (very funny). We would like to thank also olympic holidays for providing a great holiday will def book with them again.

We have just returned from a fourtnights stay at the Akti Village and we had a lovely time. Acti makes the pirfect base for a 'dooing' holiday being a little way out on it's own but it is a great place to stay. The pools were great, although a little cold! the complex is well set out and clean, the food is good, they lay on good entertainment and the people working there are very welcoming.
We stayed at Akti on a self catering basis, our room was very nice, clean and comfortable, and we had a good view. The maid came every day except Saturday. There is a small shop within the complex which we found good, and there is a good supermarket near the harbour.
The complex is 4km to the west of the port of Paphos, but there is a nice seashore walk ( uneaven ) into the town and harbour. There is also the lovely beach of Coral Bay about 6km west of Akti that can be reached by bus, as can Paphos harbour.
There is pleanty of things to see and do nearby. We hired a car and visited Aphrodities rock, Aphrodities Baths, Kourion archelogical site, The Toombs of the Kings, The Mosaics by the harbour, Limissol, Lacti, and the Torodos Moutains.
All in all Akti is a great place to stay, but be prepared to walk, bus or taxi if you want to get out and about!

Myself and a friend, stayed at the Akti for a relaxing week away in the sun. It is a brilliant hotel. The apartments are lovely, set in a mini-village style, which added to the atmosphere. The facilities were superb, with two outdoor pools and an indoor pool. The hotel is situated out of the main town but there is a bus stop a couple of minutes walk away which has regular services running to both Paphos and coral bay. The best aspect of our stay was the staff. They make you feel very welcome and are what made our stay at Akti so great. The evening entertainment was also fantastic, we are in our young twenties, and we found that the hotel provided enough entertainment for us not to need to go elsewhere every evening. Would go back again and would recommend anyone looking for a relaxing break in the sun to go to the Atki.

In August 2007,i went to stop at Akti for one week with my family.
I found the apartment brilliant with good sized rooms and lovely balconys.
The rooms were clean,and a great little kitchen with all your appliances.
The restuarant was absolutly fantastic.
The food was delicious and the layout was great.
There was lots of friendly staff around which made a great atmosphere.
At dinner the chef had a diferent theme everynight, for example mexican,italian ect...
The breakfasts were also very tasty with a wide range or choice from a full
english brekkie to a greek salad or cereal.
Cant really fault anything.
The facilities in Akti were great.
There was a great sized main pool with a little one beside for children.
There was also a grassy sunbathing area with spectacular views of the sea.
Around the other side of the main area there is a calm little area with a shop
with everything you may need and a good square pool for serious swimming.
The animals there are so sweet.
There is lots of cats which are all so cute and lovely
which my daughters loved.
The hotel is situated in a great place as its 5 minutes from paphos
town which has great shops and restuarants and great nightlife.
Overall i reccomend this hotel to anyone,
its great there.

First time with Olympic, excellent company will use again. Akti a brilliant place to stay. Staff, food, apartments, pool everything excellent. Would suggest a hotel transport service to main strip and restaurants and Paphos itself, taxi to main strip 5cyprus pound 8cp to Paphos one way. Not a complaint just a suggestion as its a long walk. Ok in day light not when its dark. We had a great holiday no problems at all. Well travelled couple 53yrs young at heart.

We stayed at Akti Beach for 2 weeks in August 07 for a family holiday, with 6 children of mixed ages. Kids loved it, adults had time to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Rooms were clean and adequate for what we needed and we'd definitely visit again. Location was good with a reliable taxi service into Pahos, although we didn't venture out too much!! The Elvis impersonator was also worth seeing :-)

I’ve been to this hotel before in may/June and thought it was great so we decided to go again in November. I went with my sister and mum.
We loved every minute of it the weather was great for November, some cloudy days though but that didn’t spoil it for us.
The food is great with a wide range of choices and the staff are friendly and look after you well couldn’t ask for better people.
The breakfast and dinner is fantastic with excellent service.
The rooms are clean with space and good views. The rooms are cleaned everyday apart from Sundays.
The night entertainment is brilliant with different things going on each night from Elvis Presley impersonators to magic shows and discos.
Great for young children.
Also the hotel is situated right on the coast so you have fantastic views to the sea and a nice little beach so you can have a swim.
I highly recommend this hotel the best one I’ve been to by far!
