This is by far one of the best low-price hotels I've ever stayed in. Fairfield Inn Anaheim possesses a very competent cleaning staff - the rooms are impeccably neat and clean, and the bathrooms spotless. The lobby is modernly adorned, and the rest of the hotel (interior and exterior) retain tasteful decor.

I travelled with my mother, grandmother and two younger brothers, all of whom share my positive opinions of our experience with this hotel. The only two complaints we had were that of an inconsiderate guest smoking on our non-smoking floor, which was dealt with within five minutes of voicing the issue to the staff.

The other was that of a mix-up with our transportation to Universal Studios - the bus didn't show up. Once again, the Fairfield Inn's excellent tour relations manager provided us with a discount trip to Universal Studios the very next day upon our request. The clean, chlorinated outdoor pool and games room were lifesavers when it came to occupying my siblings during the time we spent in the hotel during the day.

Its unbeatably close location to Disneyland appealed to both my brothers and elderly grandmother (approx. 7 minute walk requiring use of only one crosswalk). Several quality restaurants are located within the Fairfield property or very close by (approx. 10 minute walking distance), and include Millie's, Mimi's, McDonalds, IHOP and Denny's. My party unfortunately did not dine at Mimi's, however the other establishments provided us with continual great service. Millie's was our definite favourite out of all the restaurants, as it offered large-portion meals at low prices (as well as several vegetarian options, which appealed to both myself and my youngest brother).

Overall, our stay at the Fairfield Inn Anaheim was a definite success (a return trip has been planned for spring of 2006) and apart from plotting to return ourselves, we recommend this excellent establishment to everyone we know.

This is by far one of the best-value hotels I have stayed in. I travelled to California with my mom, grandma and two younger brothers to visit Disneyland, Universal Studios and Knott's Berry Farm last year in May.

Our travel agent recommended the Fairfield Inn, which surpassed all our expectations for low-price accommodation. The rooms are VERY clean and comfortable, and we had a view of the Matterhorn roller coaster from our 5th floor, non-smoking room. The Fairfield's (incredibly clean) pool and games room were lifesavers when it came to keeping my brothers occupied in the time we spent in the hotel during the day. The staff were very courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, and went out of their way to make our visit comfortable, especially for my elderly grandmother.

The 5-minute walk to Disneyland was a definite bonus as it was convenient for my young siblings and grandma. Various restaurants (Millie's, Mimi's and McDonalds') were within a 3-minute walk from the hotel. Unfortunately we didn't dine at Mimi's, but Millie's provided us with continual excellent service and food (including several vegetarian options, which pleased both me and my youngest brother). We didn't discover their room-service option until our last day (unfortunately, since it was a great service) but enjoyed eating there nonetheless. Other restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel were Denny's and IHOP. The Fairfield's gift shop is very well priced. We only had two complaints about this hotel, both of which were dealt with immediately and efficiently.

The first problem was that of an inconsiderate guest smoking in the suite above ours (both floors were non-smoking) which was solved within five minutes of contacting the lobby staff. The second was a mix-up concerning transportation to Universal Studios - our bus didn't show up. Once again, the staff dealt with this issue effectively by booking a charter bus for the very next day (on our request, as we decided to enjoy Disneyland and California Adventure Park for the remainder or the day) and provided a discount fare for us. Overall, the great value we discovered in the Fairfield Inn (Anaheim) made our vacation a great one, and we recommend it to everyone we know.

A return trip has been planned for this upcoming June, and you can bet that the only place we'll be staying is the Fairfield!
