We booked our flights through Virgin then booked all hotels separately. We thought the Wyndham was extremely reasonable in price considering the quality of the hotel and very much enjoyed our stay.
We were greeted on arrival and paid for our car to be valet parked. After a long drive from Las Vegas it was really nice to be welcomed and check-in was extremely quick.
Our room was clean and comfortable with a large double bed, mini-bar and all amenities.
The pool was large and clean and you could hire floats from the gift shop which was definitely needed as the temperature went up to 115 degrees!
We only ate breakfast and lunch at the hotel as we went out to the main 'strip for dinner, (the hotel even chauffeured us to the restaurant we wanted to go to for free!) but both meals were a good standard and they even had a bbq on at lunch with hot dogs and burgers.
There are some gorgeous bars and restaurants in the main town of Palm Springs, and we enjoyed a lovely Mexican meal where they did amazing Margarita's in all flavours.
All in all it was a lovely stay at the Wyndham, and the hotel staff were extremely polite and welcoming and would assist you in any way they could.
