Looking at the report by Ann {maybe we met) I can only confirm what a wonderful family run the Poseidon.
Peters only drawback is he is Americanised but his mother is one of the kindest and most honest ladies I have ever met.
We were fobbed off last year by Manos saying it was full but I phoned Peter and was told he was empty {travel operators politics} so I travelled under my own steam I saved nearly £200 pounds this year I will do the same and let Manos rip off the not so sure people.
Don’t forget if you book somewhere and your told its full it could be the operator trying to fill up his committed rooms.

We went to the Poseidon studios in sep 2003, we liked it so much we tried to rebook for the following year but we were told that they were fully booked. So we stayed at the Anaxos Gardens.
To are dismay when we arrived the Poseidon hadn’t had any bookings at all. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement, especially when we arrived at the gardens. We were on our honeymoon and we had a pokey little room with a shared balcony. Luckily enough when I explained the situation they moved us to a bigger room. But the noise from the pool was terrible. For people with children it must have fantastic but when you’re on honeymoon not so good. Thanks to Peter the staff and the other regulars who go to the Poseidon we had a lovely time. We spent most of time there and only slept at the Gardens (when we could). I can’t say enough about the resort itself everyone is so nice and make sure you have a fantastic holiday. If you’re looking for wild nights out then Anaxos is not for you. The beach is shingle, but never over crowded.
If you want a holiday to relax and spend time with a nicest people then I recommend Anaxos. The food is lovely and not expensive. You will not be disappointed if you book your holiday in Anaxos. And I can’t think of anywhere better to stay than Poseidon Studios. You’re always guaranteed a friendly welcome.

The Poseidon was offered to us by Kosmar instead of our original booking to Christina's Gardens. I can honestly say I would rather have lost my deposit than stay there.
The accommodation was not ready for us as it had been closed for several years before our arrival - the pool was unusable, pool bar shut and rooms dirty.
We did not have the room cleaned during our stay, linen was changed after a week, and I had to ask for linen for the baby's cot, as they did not change this. The fridge was rusty inside and out, electrics ropey and the balcony had suffered subsidence, with loose masonry on one of the pillars.
None of the windows or doors fitted properly, and the balcony door looked as if it had been forced at some point. We made several complaints to the rep, as did ALL other guests staying there at that time.
This was not received well by the owners who would not talk to us after that!
Anaxos is a lovely resort, and this was our second visit. We will return but will not stay at the Poseidon again EVER! I am posting this as a warning to others who have been changed by Kosmar, as this is no like for like swap.
