This hotel is a short walk away from the metro and it's easy enough to get round the city.
We loved this hotel. I think mainly because it's a big chain but with things in place that focus on the small details that help to make it a great hotel to stay in. The atrium area is nice and is in the middle of the hotel. When we went the restaurant was being renovated so there was a temporary arrangement of food in the atrium which was pleasant enough.
The breakfast (served in strium) was lovely. You can have your eggs cooked to order and there's wide choice of other hot and cold food. In the evening there is a manager’s reception where free drinks and nibbles are served. It was a really nice way to start the evening / relax after a day out.
The hotel staff were all really friendly and happy to help. The suites are very spacious, modern, and clean. We couldn't have asked for more especially for the price. There was a sofa and dining table in a separate room to the bedroom. We didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel but we felt very relaxed when we were there.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, the rooms were very large indeed, and the complementary breakfast was great.
We stayed for one week at half term in February. They also have a Managers Reception every night with Free drinks, a must after walking around all day.
The position of this hotel was ideal as it was within easy reach of the tube, and there was a bus stop outside which would take right up to Times Square. There is a multiplex cinema on the ground floor as well a Bagel shop on corner.
The room we had had a River View and we could even see the Statue of Liberty. This Hotel was very good value indeed and would not hesitate to stay here again if we return to New York.

Stayed there in 2005 with a party of 12 for four days. We had a great time.
The staff were brilliant and got us cabs any time we needed one. It is a great point for touring the city. We ate ate the hotel restaurant every day. When we wanted to go to Woodbury Common the hotel helped. I am going to stay at the hotel again this November for five days

Definitely not a hotel for those afraid of heights! Though very stunning to look at and comfortable rooms this hotel isn’t the best situated to all of New York City's attractions.
Situated in Battery Park it is just around the corner from ground zero and not far from the pier for the boat to liberty island. If you want to go anywhere else though it’s a cab ride or a subway ride and after paying enough for the holiday the cab fares do run up!
Great food though, breakfast was fantastic I wont complain there! Staff were always very friendly, just wish I’d known how far from everything the hotel was before I went, I would have possibly chosen more of a closer hotel :)

I and my wife always wanted to visit New York, so decided to save the pennies and make the trip this year.
We searched online and come across the embassy and booked up. I think that we made a good choice. The staff were great and really professional. Food was outstanding!
There is so much to do in the city. The only problem we had was the heat at the time of year that we visited.
