I booked a room for a weekend for three people and we had a superior double, with 2 double beds.
I booked though the hotel's own website and when we arrived they had no reservation booked anywhere on their system, which was worrying for a few minutes, but luckily despite being full they managed to put us in a room we requested.
The room was fairly snug for 3 people, but beds were comfy, was quiet and bathroom was clean and well maintained.
The location was great, just 5 minutes from Grand Central terminal and with walking distance of all midtown attractions. Would recommend and stay there again.
Fairly upmarket with bell boys and doormen, but all were helpful and friendly.
