Stayed overnight in Brooklyn the day before we picked up the cruise ship from Brooklyn Harbour - also in a Marriott hotel - ideal start to the trip.
The ship - Caribbean Princess is huge.
Cabin was on Dolphin deck Junior suite - balcony was very large - 2 deckbeds and 2 chairs and a table and room to walk about. Narrow design to cabin though.
Midhship location on ship ideal.
Lots of activities and the cinema under the stars is lovely.
Itinery was interesting and all in all the cruise element to our holiday was great.
The stay in NY for the second week was superb. If anybody wants any info please ask. Recommend the hop on hop off buses as a good way to get your bearings.
Advice: Canada & New England ports interesting and different, e.g. Boston & Maine. New York - exciting.
Activities: Whaling in Maine, visiting Ellis Island and museum in New York
Good for: City Breaks
