" Family/couples oriented resort, quiet... "

Family/couples oriented resort, quiet in June, Hotel was of a good standard, and the food couldn’t be complained about. Entertainment for the children appeared plentiful, however, as this was a lads holiday didn’t stay in hotel too late, resort was empty this time of year, would recommend if a group of lads/girls go a month later, or go to Playa Del Ingles where it’s livelier, saying that, Playa Del Ingles is only a local bus trip away, local transport better than the UK, and you can jump a taxi back, overall an enjoyable relaxing break!

My family and I had a most enjoyable time in Costa Teguise and The Los Zocos Appartments. The atmosphere was friendly; the staff at the complex would go out of their way to help.

The children’s activities were well thought out, and very well supervised. The nights out either eating out or staying at the clubs bar were great fun. Our room was a 2-bedroom apartment on the ground floor; it was very spacious and clean.

The only criticism that I have is the daily maid service. The maids are supposed to come in 5 times a week, in the first week we saw our maid twice, and again twice in the second week. I had to speak to one of our reps regarding the failure to have our room cleaned, but on a positive note my 20 month old managed to break a number of glasses, and the emergency maid once called was at the apartment within minutes.

Across the road is the beautiful beach of Playa de los Cacharas, this beach has wonderful clean sand, with someone constantly walking along the beach clearing peoples discarded items. in fact the whole resort of Costa Teguise is spotlessly clean. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Los Zocos to any of the people that I know.<br>

My wife and I stayed at the Los Zocos Apartments in March last year we were a bit concerned about the weather at this time of year in Lanzarote and along with that what would 3* all inclusive accommodation be like, we should not have worried, first the weather was scorching hot and the Hotel was first class, the food was excellent and the entertainment was the best I have encountered in my many visits to Spain. The hotel is big and friendly, the staff, from receptionist to nightclub entertainers were a 5 star class act. If we wanted to sample any local hospitality all we had to do was just cross the road where we found superb restaurants, with great prices, even a small, kids play area with one of those bouncy elastic band harness things that look terrific fun while mum and dad can sit and have a cocktail and pint in comfort and still keep an eye on the little ones, then a few paces more and you are on the big horseshoe shaped beach with a great walk into Teguise town, the week we were there they even had an evening street carnival right in front of Los Zocos (Magic Kingdom eat your heart out).We are returning to Costa Teguise next week 7 April, unfortunately we were not able to get into Los Zocos so we are staying in Sands Beach which is just across the road but we will be crossing the road to have a few beers and see a few of last years entertainment staff.
Anybody that has a bad word for this complex is your typical British whinger,and in which case they should have stayed at home and gone to Blackpool(sorry Blackpool).

" When arriving at Los Zocos very... "

When arriving at Los Zocos very friendly staff met us. We had e-mailed ahead and requested a pool view in the new block not on ground floor. <br><br>
The only problem with this was carrying the cases to the third floor (no lifts).<br><br>
The accommodation was very nice, large appt and balcony.
Pools were very clean, lots off sun beds, but no umbrellas so no way off getting out off the sun.<br><br>
I wouldn’t rate the food that much very repetitive.<br><br>
The staffs tried there best, and were very friendly as were the entertainment staffs. Location fabulous, but i wouldn’t go to Los Zocos again, can’t put my finger on why. Only saw one cockroach in the entertainment lounge.

" We had to pay full price for my 14yr... "

We had to pay full price for my 14yr old son £655.00 but he had to sleep on a sofa not even a bed, bed linen had rips and burn holes in them, carpet on the floor which was not cleaned for the week the complex had to be fumigated from ants which where in peoples suite cases (mine included ) food was hit and miss every night some of it looked and tasted worse than hospital food sloppy eggs greasy bacon over cooked sausage dry meat the only safe thing to eat was salad, if you have booked, ask to stay in the new block 3 as I was in block 2 which was dark and dingy not big enough for 4 sharing, we paid £2056.00 for 1 week some people only paid £1000 for the same thing. The reps where not at all helpful they just smiled and asked if you wanted to upgrade you could but it would cost.

Nice place, well catered for families. However, as a couple, it can get a bit over bearing with so many children around, so if you like peace & quiet, this place is not recommended!
The apartments were clean & tidy. However, there were a few bugbears; there was no kettle, you have to hire them from reception! You have to pay to watch the TV, so ensure you have plenty of change for it! No tea towels for drying up. Apart from these, the place was good. We didn’t eat in the restaurants on site, as we prefer to eat out. Some very nice restaurants along the beachfront. All serve very good food at the very cheap prices!
Another point, walk up the road to the Netto supermarket. It’s larger and considerably cheaper than the one opposite & next door to the apartments. Also, avoid at all costs the electrical shops, they will rip you off, and they are renowned for skimming your credit cards!
All in all, a very good holiday, would go back to the resort, though probably not to Los Zocos.

Had a wonderful time - all I wanted was a relaxing holiday with a bit of sun. Food and drinks and sun galore at the Los Zocos Resort!!
Costa Teguise is a bit quiet for those wanting a pubbing and clubbing holiday.
There is a fantastic chinese restaurant in the main shopping centre and enough shops to keep you going!
The accommodation itself was comfortable and very clean. There looked to be excellent entertainment for children and young families, however, entertainment for young couples within the complext itself was poor.
The Boulevard which was not included in the all inclusive package proved to be excellent entertainment - if you get a chance to see Two of a Kind don't miss it!!
Reception staff were most helpful and if we got the opportunity we would certainly visit again!!

The food & drink were fine & so was the accommodation in my opinion.
What can I say about the Animation Team especially Carola & Lauren they were both great got me involved in everything I could do, if I couldn’t do it then I would be ref so I was involved in nearly every activity that the adults were doing every day. I only hope they are both still work at the resort when I get out there so we can catch up.
All in all the holiday was great.
