Orion Studios

Just got back this morning from having a Great holiday at the Orion, although the resort of Faliraki was quiet we still had a wonderful time. The apartments are kept to a good standard of cleanliness; they have a great pool area again kept spotless!
The most important factor for us though was the genuine friendliness of the staff in particularly as so many have mentioned Maria at the pool bar (hello lovely's) and Kostas in the restaurant, also Charlie and Terry in the restaurant.
The food was so fabulous that we never ate at any other restaurants for the full week! So even if you are not staying at the Orion a visit to the restaurant is a must!
We will most definitely be going back and would not consider staying anywhere else than the Orion.

This was our first stay at Orion apartments. We have been to Faliraki four times now and Orion definitely beats any other accommodation.
We were made to feel very welcome by Maria, George and all the family.
The apartments where very clean and cleaned every day, the pool is very inviting on a hot day, and there are plenty of sunbeds to go round.
The location of the apartments is perfect, you are in walking distance for the resort centre but far enough not to be disturbed if you want a quiet time.
We also recommend the Mexican restaurant round the corner, Panchos, we had a lovely meal there, great value for money.
Overall I would highly recommend Orion for a good holiday.

Well what you can you say! We had a fabulous time we have just got back. We have never been to Greece before, so we went with a view that Falariki was loud but it so wasn’t.
The Orion was great the people were lovely. The apartments were basic but enough for us. We would go back if wasn’t for the mozzies!
We were very surprised how quiet Falaraki is maybe the time of year I don’t know.

I haven't got a bad word to say about the Orion hotel.
The week my partner and I were there, we were made to feel very welcome, the weather was gorgeous (one of the days the temp reached the 30's), and the rooms are immaculate as is the pool and bar area.
Maria who works in the bar is one of the nicest people you will meet. She takes a personal interest in every person who comes to the bar.
The food at the pool bar was exceptional and very good value (I recommend a milkshake and the fish and chips).
The hotel is close to everything. The beach is about a 5 minute walk away and the main strip is only about a ten minute walk.
I strongly recommend the Orion to anyone.

If you are about to stay at the Orion I have only one thing to say and that is, "Take me with you!"
I and a couple of girlfriends went for my birthday and I have to say the Orion is absolutely fantastic.
Maria, George and Costas are the most beautiful people who seriously cannot do more for you. Everyone has talked about how good the accommodation is so I want to talk more about the location.
The Orion is around a ten minute walk from the beach. It is just off bar street and club street (inventive names aren't they?! can you guess where the night life is?) Although close by, you cannot hear a peep.
The waterpark was literally a couple of minutes walk away and funnily enough opened for the season on my birthday, however the free drinks I was plied with meant there was no way I was going!
There are quite a few shops on the strip, very touristy and I found them quite expensive - Greece is not as cheap as it once was, prices are about the same as in Britain. Everything you could need is there as well as a McDonalds and a TGI Fridays!
The best way to see the island is to rent a car or moped, which you can do from the strip. There is a trip to Lindos which I wasn't too impressed with because it's known to be a sun trap but when we were there is rained constantly.
You can actually save your money and hire a car for the week and take the road to Lindos instead. The boats are great but you are restricted to when the weather is good enough to travel and the departure times.
Rhodes town is approx 40 mins away and is good for shopping and nightlife.
Also don't believe all you hear about people stumbling out of bars, etc. Yes it is quite wild in high season.
Please be careful whilst driving. Be careful and be safe.

Me an my partner went to Faliraki mid October for one week and had a great time Maria who works in the bar was lovely and made you feel very welcome. Apart from the hurricane it was a nice break, we had 4 days of sunshine and 3 of rain but it didn’t stop us enjoying ourselves.
If you are planning on going to Faliraki make sure u go to the water park it’s excellent. There is lots to do there. We visited Rhodes for a day, as it was raining but didn’t stay long we spent more time waiting for the bus, and when we finally got on the bus it was the wrong one. The man that worked on the buses told us that it was our bus but ended stopping 2 miles from our hotel, long walk.
You must try the La Strada restaurant its Italian and does the best food. Will be going back to Faliraki in the future, but at a busy time of the year as a lot of bars and restaurants were closed so didn’t have a big choice of places to eat.

This was my first time back in Rhodes for 24 years, I took my daughter with me who is 18 and her 1st time abroad. I must say Rhodes was as I remembered it beautiful.
The studio was clean and accommodating. Very trustworthy staff, nothing was locked away. The pool bar is delightful run by Maria and her family who are the best, you feel like you have known her for years.
We had a wonderful week even though the weather was bad a couple of days. We will definitely be returning next year bringing my husband with me as requested by Maria.
Many many thanks to all the staff studios and hotel that are so friendly and hard working nothing is a trouble. Look forward to seeing you next year.

Just got back from a fantastic holiday at the Orion studios in Faliraki the one thing that made it great was the accommodation and the people who ran the pool bar especially Maria who was so lovely and kind and made you feel at home.
Me and my boyfriend went here to celebrate my 21st birthday an it was definitely one I will never forget. And hopefully will be going back there very soon. The rooms were cleaned daily which is a good thing an the food in the snack bar lovely if you ever go there make sure you try an pork gyros an a chicken souvlaki.
Once again thank you Maria we will never forget you.

Just like to say a massive thank you to everyone at the Orion studios for a fantastic holiday I will definitely go back one day! Had a fantastic time some brilliant nights out and I'd like to let everyone know Faliraki is nothing like 18-30 makes out!

This is situated in a great spot, not to far from night life, but far enough away from the noise. Cabs not too expensive, shopping in Rhodes (old town) beautiful.
Arrived back and had a fab time. Myself and 2 other girlfiends (age 27-31). Looking at the other reviews, we have all said the same.
All the staff are fabulous. Maria was always working (does she ever get a day off???). Everyone was very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Fixing our broken shoes, calling us cabs and telling the drivers where we wanted to go, even so much as Uncle Costas helping our insect bites.
Charlie, George, Costas, Costas, Terry, Maria, George and everyone else, we had a fab time that we are planning on returning next year, if our work places will allow it, we might try to stay much longer..........From Sharron, Sandra and Paula.
