This hotel is definatly the best hotel in the area, and i saw about 3 on my 2 week sunny fun packed holiday in 2006. Myself and 1 friend went and we had a fantastic time! The resturant is gorgeous with lovely food and the staff are very friendly and not afraid to join in and have a natter. Maria was fantastic, and so welcoming! The bar is great with on site tv and pool table along with various games machines. I was there when Italy were playin in the final of the world cup and the atmosphere was AMAZING! People from other hotels are welcome and many came to the Orion to join in with the fun! In this case we met loads of people from all parts of england and still keep in touch regularly!
The pool is big and spacious, and there is a small pool for younger children i.e babies/toddlers. The security is good. The location of the hotel is absolutly perfect... based on club street with bar street only a 5 min walk down to the end of club street, the nightlife is frantic! If you want a quiet holiday then this is not the best place to be especially at night! Although would probably vairy at different times of year! Each bar/club has its own fantastic deals although i do recommend bar 24 as it has a deal which includes drinks and a meal inclusive for i think when i went was 15 euros! BARGAIN! perfect for a 18-30 holiday ... or anyone lookin to have an action packed good time!

We have visited the Orion every year since 2005 and this year will be no exception, what a wonderful place.
The staff treat us more like family than guests, the food is outstanding, the rooms are basic but spotless, and my family and I cannot wait to head back there again this year.
The 1st year we went we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary, everyone there made it such a special time for us. I also celebrated a birthday there on another visit, Maria got me the most beautiful cake, and after our evening meal in the restaurant all the waiters sang happy birthday to me.
Rhodes is the most beautiful place I have ever seen, the sights are amazing, the locals very friendly, nothing is too much trouble for the Greek people; but the Orion is the place to stay.
The staff,Maria,George,Charlie,Zoe,Terry Costa and everyone who works there are truly good people who will go out of their way to help you from calling a taxi to drawing a map to show you how to get from a to b.
I can honestly say the only problem they have never been able to sort for me and my family is the mozzies and believe me they’ve even tried to sort them out. We strongly recommend the Orion and promise you won’t be disappointed.

The accommodation, pool, bar and restaurant were all brilliant. The rooms are basically furnished but a lot better than most Greek studios.
We were advised by our travel agent that Faliraki would still be open in October. IT ISN'T! Everything closes, and I mean EVERYTHING in October. DO NOT GO IN OCTOBER, unless you are an elderly couple, and even then I think you would struggle to find anything to do. I went for a week with some friends and it rained 5 days out of 7.

Brilliant hotel, huge pool, clean rooms and massive balcony's!! Food was delicious, best place to eat is the Orion pool bar or restaurant. Nicest looking hotel in that area of Faliraki. Booked as a last minute deal and was more than we could have wished for.
Maria is a lovely lady, very welcoming and always smiling. Faliraki was almost completely shut at time of year that we went but a good time for families to go. Still a few bars open, bowling, mini golf and lots of shops to keep you entertained. Rhodes very close by.
Will definately be going back as soon as!

These apartments were fantastic, great location and great weather. The apartments were very clean and towels were changed and rooms cleaned on a daily basis. The hotel Orion restaurant was fantastic, the steaks were great. We ate here for 5 nights out of the seven we were there. I was with my partner and the resort was quiet in October which was just what we were looking for. The staff were extremely friendly and would recommend these apartments to anyone.
We would definitely go back here!
Just so you know as October is the end of season there was no air conditioning available and the weather was still warm. The hotel provided us with a fan immediately at no extra cost.
The only let down was our Kosmar holiday rep, after we were dropped off without being shown into the hotel there was very little contact. On her short visit into the apartments she never asked how the holiday was going - you may as well have organised the holiday yourself. There was no information given about the resort or places to visit, we were given a leaflet and asked to ask her any questions if we had any. There were signs up in reception offering air conditioning when of course there was none.

A group of us have just got back from 2 weeks at the Orion studios. We had a fantastic time and have not got a bad word to say about our stay.
Maria and George are the friendliest couple that you could wish to meet, and could not do enough for you.
While there my daughter celebrated her 21st birthday and Maria offered to get her a cake and let us decorate the bar. which was a lovely surprise for her.
The studios are in a perfect position to be close enough to the bars and restaurants but far enough away that you don’t hear the noise from the main street. It is about a five minute walk to the beach, and a few minutes walk to the bars etc.
I do hope that more families give this resort a try so that it does not get the bad name that it had a few years ago.
We will definitely be going back to the Orion as we think we would find it hard to find another hotel/studios to stay in.
Food is fantastic in the bar and restaurant and could not find any where better!

Brilliant holiday!
Stayed September 22nd 07 for 1 week. Hotel was spotless, very clean and the pool area was perfect!
In a great location just off Club Street and next to the Royal Rose; nearest supermarket literally 2 min walk.
All staff at the Orion were fab, helped in every way! Maria at the pool bar, worked so hard it was quite unreal, but what a star!
The waiters at the Orion restaurant were so funny, we had free wine every evening with our meal.
I will definitely be returning to the Orion, without hesitation. Me and my friend had a brilliant time and Faliraki was awesome!

Just got back from a fab holiday in Faliraki! Was a bit worried at first after all the tv programmes about Faliraki- but it doesn't deserve the hard time that these "documentaries" have given it.
We stayed at the Orion Studios for a week in July and my only complaint was that a week wasn't long enough!
The staff at the Orion Studios were brilliant- Maria and the staff at the pool bar couldn't do enough for you. Whether it was a cooked breakfast first thing or a cheese toastie at 3 in the morning after the dancing, they were there! Really nice family and they were always so pleasant. Kostas the night security guy is so lovely too- he had to help me to my room once after a very drunken night out! There's a real nice atmosphere in the Orion studios and we always felt really safe there.
The studios were kept really clean and the pool area was big with plenty of sunbeds and was always clean too. Would advise everyone to invest in the air-conditioning though- we would never have survived without it! Only ate in the hotel restaurant once but would definitely recommend it. Theres a mexican place just round the corner and its well worth a visit too, they do fabulous fajitas and the staff are lovely there too.
The resort of Faliraki was a lot quieter than I expected but there's still loads of bars and a few clubs to choose from. Club street is definitely more relaxed, while Bar Street is mad! Loads of loud music and PRs jumping out of nowhere trying to get you into their clubs! Would recommend Jacks, Bedrock and King Arthurs-it does fab cocktails!
The Water Park is worth a visit too and its only 7 euros in a taxi.
Met loads of great people there too and I would definitely think about going back again. The Orion Studios definitely deserves 10 out of 10!

Orion studios could not be faulted, rooms spotless, staff were excellent, food was better than anywhere we tried in Faliraki, perfect location.
Thanks to all around the pool that took time to look for my necklace which came off when fooling around in the pool and a special thanks to Leisha who found it !!!!!!!
Security in the complex was effective and would not tolerate any misbehaving whatsoever which was a godsend as these resorts can get rather rowdy if left.
5 mins to beach with all watersports, a few mins walk to all shops and bars etc.
No problem with any night-life overspill from bars as Orion is perfectly situated.
Maria, George, Paul, Michael and Maria the younger ran the pool bar a big thanks to all of them for the enjoyable conversation, big thanks to Maria as she cant do enough for all.
Great place to stay for a self catering holiday.

A bit late in making comment but as it was my wife Margaret and I, first holiday together in over 35 years we are still talking about it.
The Orion could not have been as good a place to start our senior lives together it was absolutely fantastic. The room was spotlessly clean and this was made sure of by it being cleaned every single day. The staff what can I say, we are from Ireland where we consider ourselves to be the friendliest people in the world, wrong, I have never met so friendly staff.
Everyone talks about Maria and she is awesome, first thing in the morning she greets you with a smile and talks with you as if you where her best friend and she has known you all your life. Plus the food is good, the drink (cold pineapple) was brilliant and nothing was a problem.
The Restaurant again was a delight to visit and visit we did every night. Hercules making sure everything was alright and always smiling, along with the other staff who made our holiday a living memory. Very well done George, you must be very proud.
The pool, the lighting, the sunbeds and everything just great.
The little souvenir shops that made us feel important, the one that took time to wrap up little gifts for our grandchildren all made our visit to Faleraki a huge success, we will be back.
