had great hol cleaned 5 days a week staff friendly and helpfull try bus stop bar dj and bar man a bit nutty but great good nights

Just come back from a week staying here. We were am ixed group of 28 ranging in ages from 19 to 40's. The rooms were large and cleaned every day except one. Was surprised to find washing up liquid soap and tea towels in a self catering apartment. The cleaners were all very friendly and Rene the bar manager is a real star !!!! The breakfasts were good value but didn't try any other meals.
The location was perfect, 10 mins walk to the waterpark and to the beach, but far away enough from Veronicas to be quiet at night.
I would definately stay there again with a group but would not reccomend it for families as no childrens pool or playground.

stayed in the Caribe Apartments over the summer, the apartments were situated in a very central location with a short stroll to the beach and clubs. perfect place to stay if you are young. if you are planning on going to tenerife you must visit Destineys Bar, best breakfast on the island with the friendliest staff, john and linda are just the best ever, and at night there is also entertainment and is guaranted to b a brilliant nights craic.. would recommended to anyone.

Stayed at the caribe over the christmas and new year period and must say i thought it was excellent the staff are very friendly apartments were cleaned 4 times a week.have re-bookrd to go back in june well done caribe staff.

we are a family of three. we have been to tenerife three times before and have never been to a most discusting hotel.The pool is filthy, the tile grouting below the water line is black. i myself cought a chest infection and my daughter who could not swim and could only put her feet in the pool had a nasty rash from her knees downwards. The appartments where ok but for the floor to be dirty as they where only swept and not mopped so leaving your shower only to get your feet dirty.we complained to the manager only to be told that this was ok and the pool was cleaned every day, well i saw the cleaning in the morning only to see the room maids sweeping the dirt into the pool. As for being an 18 to 30 hotel i did not once see anyone go to the toilet even though about fifty youngsters were drinking all day. I have now reported this hotel to the spanish authorities and the BBC watchdog as this needs to be addressed.we have seen our GP back in the UK and my daughter and i are on medication. STAY AWAY.

Just got back from the Caribe Apartment's went with a group of friends. On here i have seen many reviews saying its "bad" and "Don't go there". This hotel was great for a mates holiday. Hardly came across any cockroaches. Hotel staff at reception are a bit rude but we couldn't work out if thats because they don't understand us so we just blunt with them and they are fine. Pool is great always sunbeds in the sun virtually all day. Great Tennis court and a rubbish little Mini golf course but its free and just a good little laugh. Internet Cafe. Pool bar staff are very friendly and fun and very good food e.g Full English for 2.50euros. Cheap drinks with very high alcohol content. Very close to all shops like 30 second walk. Nice enough distance from all the noise of main town but no hassle at all to work. Over all a very good holiday for the price we paid. No problems at all. There is nothing wrong with Caribe.

Great 3 nights for six of us. Flew from Bournemouth. Apartments good size and clean. Easy walk to all the nightlife, but far enough away from clubs so no noise.
Look out for the lifeguard - he got kicked out of the Gestapo for not having a sense of humour, but it made it all the more fun to take the mickey out of him. He even kept a log book at his table! we hid his chair and umbrella one night - lol.

Me and my boyfriend stayed in the caribe apartments last summer ( 09). we found it excelent...however they are the type of apartments that make you wish you went with a large group of people due to the atmosphere..nightlife is excelent, beaches are lovely, waterpark is in walking distance, food is unreal and cheap, apartments are clean and basic, cleaners are in almost every day! very good holiday and will be returning!

Myself(17) and my mum booked with globespan and decided on the caribe as is seemed not far away from the main area and also it seemed fine that we would hardly spend any time there at all and that a bed was all we really needed!
Well. When we arrived we were grunted at by the receptionist and were told our rooms were not ready, so we went out to the bar and were grunted at again by the two bar staff on!! When our rooms were finally ready our key cards werent working, the safe wasnt working and when i went to say about it i was given a massively dirty look even though i wasnt in the wrong. 3 times that week, our key cards didnt work for the room. Not impressed.
All the staff at caribe were rude! I couldnt sleep at night due to noise coming from the main strip and also from people on their balconys next to us. The cleaners are however superb. every day apart from 1 we had clean towels and whole place spotless.
Also the person in the room above ours seemed to love to parade round in high heels at 1am which was horrible and the place is so thin you hear EVERYTHING, some things not very pleasent!!
Also while we were there the pool was closed for 6 of the days out of 7 and we were told we could use hotel tropicales pool. That was fine but extremely annoying!!.
Reccomendations: Would definately reccomend Yates, Linekers and Down Under Bar for a good night out although be careful because i had my drink spiked in one of them!!
For food definately the Playboy restaurante! Its lovely, good food and fairly cheap aswell!!!
SIAM PARK is a must!! Definately go there. Its wonderful!! Such a great day out!!!
I hated going out at night because of people stopping you to go drink, eat etc. we even had one being extrmely rude to us!!!
Overall the holiday was good but the accomodation was shocking. Would certainly go back to Tenerife again but not las americas and certainly not caribe appartements.

just back from 2 weeks in the caribe apartments.dont recommend it to families,as this should be advertised as an 18-25 hotel.we were there with our 13 year old granddaughter and there was no other families in these apartments. although the apartments were clean spacious and were cleaned on a daily-basis the noise was sometimes unbearable. the noise lasted all day with shouting and singing,and continued into the early hours off the morning.my graddaughter could not get into the pool after 2 o:clock because of the carry on between the crowds of boys who took over the pool.
the temperature was in the high 20s low 30s and there was absolutely no shade and there was no umbrellas at the pool, or for hire.
found this a very disappointing hotel and certainly not suitable for families and we certainly do not recommend it. and we certainly will not return.
