Hotel Benikaktus

Having just read the comments left by fellow guests who seem more interested in eating at 4am in the morning or wishing they were actually in England!
Having stopped at the Benikaktus at least 6 times sometimes more than once a year I find it unbelievable the comments I have read.
The food is always hot and very plentiful with an extremley large choice of both meat and fish. The staff are always very courteous and extremely friendly and just because they do not all talk fluent English only enhances the fact that you are in fact in SPAIN!
It annoys me that people may be put off a wonderful holiday experience staying at this hotel with its fabulous views, live entertainment and everything else this hotel and resort have to offer.
Incidentally it can be and ususally is very warm in January and February!!!!

Hotel was okay, but not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties as it was up a very steep bank.
The food was ok but they did not put signs above the various dishes so you had to guess what you were eating. I myself would not go to that hotel again.
We would certainly go to Benidorm again as there is something there for everyone, you can have a lively or quiet holiday depending on your preference.
I would also use Sunshine co UK again as everything was spot on from their end.

Basically the hotel is focussed on non British guest, mainly Spanish and German. Hence the food was catered towards their needs rather than OURS! The pool is nice and the hotel is well maintained. It is situated on the far end of Levante beach, miles away from Subway on a late night, up a steep hill by dodgy fishermen at 3-4am in the morning. Mcdonalds is 24/7 but watch out for a dodgy Kebab man two blocks away who mixes chicken with kebab meat (Not too Nice).
Better still go to Rockerfella and see Albi Senior, fat but dead funny.
