Lovely hotel, VERY reasonably priced. We stayed here for only 3 nights and I wish we’d had longer.
Our room had French doors opening out onto the beautiful pool area, like a Mediterranean courtyard with beautiful flowers everywhere. The location of this hotel on Sunset Boulevard is superb with the famous "Saddle Ranch" bar/restaurant just across the road, the "Blue Room" a few yards up the road along with the "Viper Lounge".
Friendly staff, good selection for breakfast, nice clean rooms with plenty of space. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

This was a fantastic hotel, right in the heart of Los Angeles. All rooms looked on to the quiet and private European style pool.
The downstairs rooms had French doors opening onto the pool. There was really lovely pool furniture. Wooden sunbeds and lots of iron tables and chairs. We requested a downstairs room, which meant we could get up and go straight out to the pool for an early morning dip. We also enjoyed a late night drink out by the pool.
Hollywood Boulevard itself was a short trip by Dash bus (10 minutes). These leave frequently from outside the hotel and cost only 25 cents. These buses also take you all round the city and to the metro station, so you can connect to go up to Universal studios or down to the coast.
Breakfast was lovely each morning. The whole place was really quiet and clean. The location is ideal. Opposite the Saddle Ranch Chop House for decent food and next door to the House of Blues for concerts and opposite the Comedy Club. Highly recommended. We preferred this to The Bellagio in Las Vegas.
