The Hotel Mediterranean offers good food from its top floor restaurant with views looking over the Bay of Naples capped by the magnificent volcano Vesuvius. Evenings are a pleasure having dinner watching the sun set.
The attentive staff make your stay a delight, whether out at the pool , making up your room , at the desk or in the restaurant. And what about things to do? Take the ferry to Capri for the day, book a coach trip on the famous Amalfi Drive making sure you eat in Ravello!
Then there’s history in abundance here- The Romans loved the place, the fertile volcanic soil, sunshine and humidity from the Sahara’s Sirocco made it a luxurious place to live as it is today. But they paid the price in AD 79. Go see the ruins at Pompeii and Herculaneum. Vesuvius wreaked its wrath big time. Sorrento is also a fragrant place... all orange, lime and lemony smells. Go there, breathe it all in...Enjoy!
