I am sorry to say that The Travel Lodge St Pete Beach is the worst accomodation I have EVER stayed in (Worldwide), and checked out after only 2 days. My major complaint was the noise between rooms. You could hear the adjacent people talking via the vents in the bathroom and also hear the toilets flush. The showers have NO thermostatic control and when the adjacent room had a shower, at the same time, water temperature fluctuated to the point where my head was scolded. The staff fobbed me off saying that mine was the first complaint they had had about water temperature and yet, everyone I talked to had the same problem. My accident report was NOT resolved and I will NEVER use travel lodge EVER again. In my opinion A small child would have been severely hurt and an older person, less adgile, may have fallen from the shock of the change in temperature.
