A stunning setting with lovely views (high above the lake) and super outdoor terraces with pools. Away from the facilities of the resort but a pleasant stroll down needing transport back. Near the olive oil factory and birthplace of Saint Daniel Comboni, both minutes walk away. Good food. Would return in the future but need a degree of fitness.

We found the hotel Cristina had a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and all the staff appeared very helpful.
The dining facilities were in a very pleasant room with beautiful views of the lake. Plenty of choice and as much as you wanted to eat was available with breakfast and dinner being served for substantial periods of time. No rushing to get down to breakfast or dinner to get the best grub necessary here! The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels provided and although basic, were clean and tidy.
There were two nice outdoor pools and plenty of sun loungers, with a small pool for children, and a very convenient bar right next to the pool. On the downside the walk into Limone was a bit of a trek as it was all downhill. Walking back to the hotel is not for the faint hearted as the last bit up to the hotel consists of several dozen steps.
After one night of doing this we found the taxies cheap enough (8 euros)! Overall it was a lovely venue and made for a good holiday and we would definitely consider going back.

We had read reviews on this hotel some good, some worrying.
On review recommendations we booked a superior room. From our point of view the room was excellent with air conditioning, hairdryer, tea making facilities, fridge, balcony with amazing views and was nicely furnished. The room was beautifully clean and for a 3* hotel we thought it amazing. Food was buffet style and we gorged on tasty food every evening. Would not hesitate to recommend it to other people.
We did hear that the basic rooms are small and have no air conditioning. Also the Cristina is set in a high position, so walking up in heat would be no fun, but there is a free mini bus service which we used. Hotel rules say no noise in or around rooms after 10pm, which suited us.

A lovely Hotel with stunning views of Lake Garda. 20 min walk down to the front and you had to get a Taxi back if you can find one. Watch the weather because when it rains , it rains. the food was good but not much choice at breakfast only 2 warm meals and mostly continental. the evening meal was buffet style and plenty to choose from.
Overall a nice place to stay and the people were friendly and polite. yes I would recomend it to others but only if you are fit to walk up and down the hill.
