We found the Clift comfortable, quirky and ultra modern. The Redwood Room was somewhat pretentious, not to mention expensive. The rooms were fairly small but functional; with trendy furnishings, mirrored walls and luxurious silk curtains.

The reception staff are snooty and dismissive as well as uninformative (we were not told that we, as hotel residents, had to book a seat in the bar!), even though we had booked a table... read more
