Beware of this hotel although the accommodation was good and the food passable if not repetitive, we upgraded to a Nile view room which we paid for on our visa cards.
This was the only transaction we made while on holiday when we got home 2 weeks later we got a statement showing the Nile view upgrade and also £260 had been deducted by the blue parrot bazaar where ever that is.
Needless to say we had not been to the blue parrot bazaar. the moral of this story is don’t let your credit card out of your sight.

The Pyramisa Isis Luxor Hotel is a very good hotel. It is Close to all amenities. Safe to walk any were and is also nice and clean. Nothing to much for staff.

To begin with this hotel is not 5 star more like 2 star.
Limited facilities , no indoor pool or gym.
The menu was repetitive and bland ( spam & mashed potato a favourite on the menu for breakfast & dinner)
The rooms although a decent size were grubby with worn furniture.
Of particular concern was the poor safety standards around the electrics not just in the room but elsewhere in the hotel.(sockets hanging out of walls, bare wires, loose plugs)
Once set of lifts were not working.
Sunbeds and towels smelt musty.
Staff were plentiful but untrained with little idea of how to serve to English standards.
Not to do with the hotel but in his area be prepared for constant harassment from the locals.
On the positive side some of the rooms have great views of the Nile but make sure you request these rooms otherwise you will end up with a room facing the noisy main road!
If you have a choice , choose another hotel !!
