We stayed at this hotel as part of Thomas Cook Signature holiday and wanted something a little better than average and we were not disappointed.
This hotel is FANTASTIC!!!!! The staff on the front desk are SO helpful, the bar staff are GREAT, the bellboy's were ACE and the restaurant staff were SPOT-ON. All the staff we had the pleasure of encountering during our stay made a point of saying hello, asking how our day had been, what we had planned for the rest of the day and even recommend some great places to eat. They simply could not do enough for you.
The hotel itself was ideal. From the decor, the rooms, the front lobby seating area and even the hallways. Always clean and fresh.
The location was also another plus. We wanted to go the beach one day and the bus stop was right outside and only cost $1.50 each (a taxi would have been over $40 each way). Shopping is only 5 mins walk with Tiffany's, Saks 5th Ave, Prada, Ralph Lauren, LV and Bloomingdales all on Union Square.
Even the cable car starting point to Fishermans Whalf was only 10 mins walk but well worth it.
If you fancy a trip to San Fran (and I think everybody should go before they die) then stay at The Adagio Hotel, you will not be dissappointed I promise.
