A great spot for this hotel, close to the beach and a short hike into Lloret itself. The hotel is very well kept, and the cleaners are constantly at work keeping it sparkling. The restaurant provided plenty of choice, whether salads, Spanish food or traditional English food, and there was hardly any time in the day when it was not possible to get something to eat. The bar was rather dark and felt like an airport lounge, but the service was fine. I was disappointed there was not much for the kids - an hour's craft activity each morning and each afternoon, then a half-hour disco in the evening. The pool was icy cold in October but we were able to use the indoor pool at another hotel in the chain, only 10 mins walk away. We were troubled by noisy neighbours a couple of times as the walls are very thin. All in all a great place for a holiday, and extremely well priced.
Really was very very surprised...

Really was very very surprised by the hotel, staff and food on this one given the terrible reviews I had read prior to going.
Food was really good for all inc in Spain, the hotel was clean, and the maids did a super job EVERY day!!
The only thing that lets down this otherwise perfectly adequate hotel was the brits and their total lack of respect of other holiday makers. Loud, rude and truly greedy. Felt totally embarrassed to be English.
One word of advice though if you do get a room over the entrance best asked to be moved as the noise is really something else but hey at least you can understand what there swearing and cursing at one another and gives you an up close and personal view of Spanish police brutality!! Totally deserved in some instances!!
The beach is lovely and it's a really pretty place to visit would go back to hotel too. Bar staff excellent in view of the atrocious behaviour they had to endure and loads of choice.

I went with my partner for our first holiday alone together, we're both 20yrs old and haven't been on holiday with out the parents before. So not having stayed at many hotels its hard to compare. I think I was being generous with the 5 I have rated this hotel. Reception staff - I favoured one as she was friendly and helpful. The others are rude and I just hated going up to them for anything. They do not understand english very well. Don't know what a wallet is, so if you lose yours like my boyfriend did good luck trying to ask them if they have seen it.
Bar - I didn't think the plastic glasses would be that annoying, I thought people were being a tad bit silly. But they got annoying after awhile. Drink selection is not the greatest. So bar was disappointing, specially as we thought a holiday where the alcohol is included in the hotel that anything would do. I didn't get drunk once in the hotel. I found it really hard to even get a bit merry on their drinks and I poured my alcohol generously. So bar was very disappointing. Watch out for english people here as they are impatient by the bar and are always there getting a drink.
Room - was fine, my boyfriend managed to figure out how to get the air conditioning to work at night, just pressing buttons and it would come on. The room was big, there really isn't anything to moan about there. Except once you get sand on the floor its going to stay there, I don't believe the maid ever swept the floor, but the maid cleaned the bathroom and everything else quite well.
Entertainment - we didn't spend time during the day in the hotel or by the pool, we went to the beach everyday so we didn't get to see the entertainment staff really. But in the evenings when we stayed for a while we watched some of their shows. Everyday they did the same dance and song with the children before they started their main show. Kids seemed to really enjoy it. One show in particular I know me and my boyfriend enjoyed it a lot, they sang songs from movies and dressed up like the characters. Doesn't sound that fantastic writing it down but the comedy to it was just soo funny. Some of their other shows we saw were ok. They tried really hard to entertain and it worked with most people there.
Snack bar - described in one word - RUBBISH! It was completely crap. Everyday you had hard rolls, crisps that were stale, fruit that didn't look good, cheese and salami. You would occasionally get cookies, croissants and other weird not looking great biscuit things. So no hot food at all on offer. This is meant to be a 3 star hotel. Another couple who were on our transfer bus went to a 2 star hotel in Santa Ponsa and in their snack bar they had hot dogs, chips etc - and their drink selection was good.
Food in the hotel - it does mostly cater for French. In the queues rude French and German people cut you up. There are 3 main little hot food areas as you go along, first one is salads, next one is vegetarians and the last one was hot weird food. Every time I ate there I had chips, got sick of having chips after awhile, not everyday I could find something I liked in the food bit, some nights I got some really great tasting food but others I couldn't find anything I'd like. Deserts were alright.
Never went to the pool as it didn't appeal to me. So can't really comment on it.
Banana Joes bar is a must go to place, they do live sports so we didn't miss an England game, they are all english in there as well and show english soaps as well. Cocktails are very nice and very alcoholic. You can get a Sex on the Beach cocktail drink in a novelty plastic glass that everyone seemed to find amusing and funny - only cost 7euros. You can just get cocktails in normal glasses which were cheaper. Beer I think was about 3euros. So drinks are cheap and nice. Ladies are allowed to dance on the bar, not my thing personally when I am just with my boyfriend but I am sure if your on a lads holiday you'd enjoy watching and if you were a girl on a girls holiday you may well be up for it.
Plenty of good bars on the way to Magaluf and in Magaluf. Plenty of english people trying to coax you into the club they are outside of, offering you deals to get in, found this a bit annoying sometimes but other times the deals were great. One place got us in with the offer of buy one get one free and 2 free sambuca shots. So 2 beers, 2 cocktails and 2 sambuca shots cost us 8euros in total.
I would most def go back to Palma Nova, great place, not the same hotel though. I think I would try one of the other hotels next time rather than go to this one again. But the area is great, so if you are booked into this hotel it isn't that bad so don't worry, it has its good points but the area and beach more than make up for its lacking of other things.
Great hotel and resort. The...

Great hotel and resort. The staff were great especially the entertainment team. My 6yr old was kept busy all of the time.
The beach is literally a stone’s throw away and is beautiful. We had fantastic weather as well.
There is a large swimming pool and a kid’s pool, but there was also another kid’s pool, 2 Jacuzzis and a bar on the roof which was a lot quieter than the main pool.
The food did get a bit boring towards the end of the week but I would not let that put me off going back.

When arriving in our hotel rated 4 star, we were met with cigarette burns in the bedding and a hole in the wall. The noise was unbelievable day and night.
You could hear word for word the people next door, kept up extremely late by the noise in the bar and pool area and slamming doors and kids shouting from balconies and running up and down corridors topped it off.
Lie ins are out of the question with cleaners shouting and laughing outside your door in the mornings.
When asked to transfer rooms or hotels we were told everywhere was noisy.
The food was adequate and plentiful (although the dining experience resembled a school canteen) and the rooms kept clean enough. If you are travelling with children and don´t want a rest then this hotel would be sufficient but don´t expect 4 star quality. That it isn´t.
If you require a rest and hate noise stay well away. The only other plus point is that Fennals beach (5 mins away) is quiet and picturesque at least during October.

Hi, after reading the reviews I feel I should add my opinion of this hotel. My Husband and our family went there 2 years running and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the food was excellent and plentiful, the rooms were a little smaller than expected, but plenty big enough. The staff do a tremendous job, often working from 6am right through to well past midnight and very helpful. To keep this short, I would recommend this hotel to anyone without a doubt, hope all who are thinking of going there enjoy it as much as we did....

The hotel was absolutely fantastic! Food was great and was different every night; staff were great and helpful whenever needed!
The 'Taste of Barcelona' trip is amazing and is a must do! Plenty of time to see everything; the Nou Camp part of the trip is unmissable, and the dancing fountains are totally brilliant!
Back to the hotel, the children’s entertainer is amazing, always has a smile on his face, and perfect for, what must be a very frustrating job!
This hotel is great. 3 minutes walk to local beach and only 15minutes walk to Llorte centre; several taxis constantly outside hotel and very friendly. Mini golf is next to the hotel, there are two supermarkets opposite hotel and two bars also, one of which plays live sky sports events.
Highly recommended!

This was a holiday from hell, at best two star. The food was at times inedible and cold, the staff were uninterested in the customers and also very rude. Not what you would expect in a four star hotel.
In one instance, one of the male reception staff brought my wife to tears over a 0.5 Euro phone call. The drinks, especially the local beer, was undrinkable and nearly always in a thin plastic glass whether indoors or out.
The rooms were cleaned every day, a godsend in a very poor hotel. The reception area had a few tables, no settees or comfortable chairs. The sun beds were old and worn and there was no space between them, also no parasols.
Truly a very sad hotel.

Please, please read the reviews before you book!!! The hotel is as bad as people say!!
This is certainly not a place for families, hotel or Loret de Mar.
The rooms are very small for a family of four; they are designed for two people only....twin beds with two 'put me up' single beds, all of which are pushed together!! And if you have a room overlooking the pool, then you won't get any sleep!!!
The food was terrible...cold....cold...cold....same....same...same. The entertainment was poor, repeated the second week.
The staff...especially the reception are very rude. It is very noisy at nights/early hours with drunken people.
If you want an 18-30 holiday. Then it’s ideal.
It’s put us off Spain for life!!!!!!

Nice hotel loads of kids, claims to be 4star I would say 3star. We were 4 to a room not very much room and no discount, very clean.
Meals not too bad, bit repetitious. Entertainment good for the kids. The children are allowed to run riot till midnight bar staff need to smile a bit more.

Went with my daughter and 2 grandsons, very disappointed. No way is this a 4 star.
Rooms too small, as soon as we arrived in room phone rang, asking us to go to reception immediately, it was a hoax, name of Manuel, spoke to a few people and it had happened to them to.
Pool was ok never saw it get cleaned, sun beds too close together.
Food not nice at all, same every day, never hot. Kids lived on chips all week, snack bar was same every day.
Entertainment crap, not much for kids to do. Nice walk to beach but no good for kids too deep, sheer drop.
Trip to Camp Nou very disappointing for grandson who is 8 and loves football only had 40 mins to look about, booked this through hotel reception, waste of money.
Hotel seemed to cater more for Germans and Dutch, who I found to be very rude.
Hotel seemed to cater for stag and hen parties, and were on same floors as families, not a good idea very noisy.
Would never go back to this hotel.

How this hotel has 4 stars is beyond me. The food was repetitive to say the least. Cold, and they always make use of leftovers, don’t try the cottage pie. We were there for the last two weeks in July and I never once saw the soup change colour. One of our party sat down to dinner only to find that the chair was soaking wet.
We brought this to the attention of the restaurant manager who simply said "Not my fault". Where have I heard that before.. It was not confirmed if the wetness was body fluid or someone sitting there with a wet swimsuit.
What the tour operators don’t seem to tell you is that the Catalonian govt have banned music and entertainment in all the bars. Therefore this seems to have had a knock on effect with the hotels as many of the people who make a living entertaining have obviously re-located to other parts of Spain where they are able to work.
The only places where you can find entertainment is nightclubs, or bars that class themselves as discos.
The hotel entertainment was practically non existent. No family participation games, some might say that this is not a bad thing, but a lot of people do like this sort of entertainment where they can let their hair down and make fools of themselves.
During our stay we saw the entertainments team perform the same show twice as the programme changes weekly. You would have expected the programme to change every two weeks but then I suppose that this part of the knock on effect.
I would not recommend this hotel for families as there were a lot of single sex groups there. We were awoken one night by a fight between three young lads in an adjacent room.
However the weather was great, the hotel was clean and the staff are friendly. Next year somewhere different.

If you book this hotel for a holiday, quickly cancel it because this hotel is like a 1 star hotel.
First of all the staff were so rude, after we complained about our wet bathroom on the first holiday. I would say the rooms are as small and comfortable as a prison cell, as all the wallpaper is peeling away; there is chewing gum on the carpet flooring, and hardly any of the resources work in the room.
The air conditioning gave my wife a viral infection and the hotel, just to hide their shame, did not think it was due to the air-con. The entertainment programme was rubbish.
The food was cold and some of the meat was uncooked. The snack bar had the same thing every day, a load of crap like burgers, hot dogs, cheese, and fruit.
All in all the hotel was terrible, and lying in the stinking, crowded swimming pool listening to British people shouting bad language, is not in my mind called a holiday.
The only satisfaction I got was standing in the warm balcony, away from all the hassle.
I am begging you not to book this hotel and suffer the same way my wife and I did.

My partner & I (both in our early 20's) spent a week all inclusive @ the hotel and head a really great time.
After first reading the reviews I was pretty apprehensive about staying here, but I’m glad I did.
On arrival the reception staff were all very helpful, we arrived @ 8:15pm so as dinner finished @ 8:30pm, we took our bags straight upto our room which was on the 6th floor overlooking the main street, and we had a lovely view of fennels beach. We were all inclusive so we were given a card with our pics on to hand to the bar staff when u want a drink.
We then went down for dinner which is I a big buffet style; there is a big choice of salads, 2 choices of soup and then not a bad selection of chips, potatoes, pasta, fish the menu varied slightly every day.
The morning menu was also ok, a choice of cereal or a cooked brekki, the sausages or more like hotdogs then real bangers though, and I’m told the bacon was also a bit weird, but the eggs and beans were great. (Ohh by the way breakfast is served between 8am and 10am, I got there one morning @ twenty to 10, and the grumpy chef with the big hat had already turned the toast machine off while people were still in mid toast...).
The food was always warm but if it did got a bit cold there is a microwave to give it a quick ding.
Downstairs in the hotel there is internet access and a small shop. The main entertainment area is also there with the big main bar with a pool table and very small and old arcade area. Outside there is a large swimming pool with connected kids pool, a large seating area and ping pong table.
It did get quite busy and loud downstairs, so we stayed main upstairs on the roof top there is another small bar with 2 big Jacuzzi’s which were great and a kids pool and lots of sun bathing space. The waiter on the upstairs bar was a really, really nice guy and there was never a queue for a drink either.
The Bedrooms were very basic but clean, we had room no 625 in the bathroom there is a bath with overhead shower, a wc, basin and bedsit, on the bathroom floor was a drain... now our was really really pongy!! We had to keep tipping shower gel down there to try and mask the smell.
The rooms are air conditioned and they are all twin rooms not double and they all come with their own private balcony. There are TV’s in there also, if u want a TV remote you have to pay 10 euro's to reception and they will provide one for u.
There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and it costs just 1 euro each to get you to the main town, Lloret, the bus drops you off right in the sea front and it also picks u up at the same place too, they were very frequent the same every 20 mins or so. Lloret main beach is a lot bigger then Fennals beach but it is still a shingle beach (small pebbles) but this one isn’t a coarse as Fennals beach. We had a good day went shopping. on the beach there are a few Beach bars which are great , my fella got a 2 litre beer and I got a 2 litre cocktail it was huge, it comes with a big flower on it and lots of fresh fruit on the top. There were great.
We also went on a Barcelona tour; you can book this with reception that was also a really good day.
Across the road from the hotel is a cafe called cafe Paula, now this place is great, they serve traditional English food, fish & chips, Sunday lunch's the lot, they also if u like them play all the soap (corrie, Eastenders) on the big screen so u don’t miss any of them.
Further up the street the is a shop call Quick save again this is run by English people, now they have everything in there you could possibly need or think of , so that it also really handy.
& then next door to that there is a late bar called The Robin Hood bar that is open to 3am this is a great place to go once the hotel bar shuts (12pm). We had so many great nights in there they do great cocktails also.
There is also a great mini golf game directly next to the hotel.
On the bad side, our neighbours in the room next to us we had a group of young French lads and they were very noisy @ times and there was one fight between to Liverpool ladies on our floor but that was all sorted very quickly and they were removed from the hotel.
We met some really great people on holiday to. That was it, I definitely recommend and stay and this hotel again.
The only bad thing I could say...

The only bad thing I could say about this hotel is that the rooms are quite small, and don't have a fridge which is essential if you are travelling with babies.
However the restaurant staff were very accommodating and let us keep fresh milk for our baby in the fridge.
The hotel is spotless. The cleaners do a great job and are very friendly. In fact most of the staff are very friendly and helpful.
There is always something for the kids to do, whether it be games in the pool, playing indoors (for some time out of the blazing July sun) or various games on the terrace.
The entertainment staff are great with the kids. My 6 year old son had a ball and met loads of new friends.
The food is quite nice and varied.
On the whole we thought this was a fab hotel and will definitely be going back.
