Booked a room with two double beds. Room was spacious, had everything we needed in it, very clean.
Hotel was just as it looked on the website. Bathroom was small and had no extractor fan so ceiling was a little stained. That was the only fault I could find.
The location was fantastic for exploring Manhattan. There was a subway station next door to the hotel.
Didn't eat in the hotel, so can't comment on the food, but the drinks in the bar were a bit steep - $22 for two Jack Daniels and coke!!! All in all was very pleased with the hotel, good value for money.
Just one gripe - we booked a helicopter tour from the concierge desk and have just had my credit card statement showing that I was charged three times!! My bank have told me not to worry and said that they will credit it back to me within 6/8 weeks.
I would definitely stay at the Metropolitan Hotel again and would recommend to anyone looking for a good value hotel in a great location.
