If you are to book at hotel on location only, I agree you couldn’t book one better than this. Opposite Marcy’s, just down from Times Square and convenient for all forms of transport.
The fuller picture is this is mainly a stopover hotel for aircrew, the porters are pretty forward on the tipping stakes, the rooms are very basic and dated far from the star rating they sell the hotel as.
On top of all this our heating kept playing up and often took various phone calls to get it repaired. Which if you’ve ever been to NY in January isn’t nice. And the convenient corridor ice machine isn’t great whilst making ice all night long just out side your door with a constant drone of refrigeration.
With loads of hotels in NY to choose from, try elsewhere!

the only reason that this hotel was given a 7/10 is because an item of clothing was stolen from our room by someone who works at this hotel.
despite our complaints this was not take sereiously, giving me thoughts that this may be a regular occurance. i spoke with danny from security whos attitude was appalling with replies of "whatever" when i asked for this to be investigated, he stated he could make a report but nothing would be done!!
therefore, that leaves a hotel worker still employed who is a thief.
this is not the kind of attitude you expect from such a well known chain and has now made myself and family never to stay in a radisson hotel again. if there is a security problem in the hotel, why do the safes in the room not work despite informing the desk of this-very strange???
other than this, the holiday was fantastic, it was in an excellent location, a 5min walk to times square, empire state building and many more attractions.
tip- check the prices on expedia, if you want to upgrade, check out the price of an executive room, then compare with the radisson website for martinique club level room (same room), fill in the online guarantee form and they will honour the price. its 25% less than the expedia price and you get a better room! this includes breakfast and from 5-7pm free drinks and nibbles but you do need to be persistent as they will try to get out of the guarantee.
the rooms were lovely and beds just fab.
as i say, the only thing wrong with this hotel and its a big wrong is the thieving from a member of staff in this hotel.
