Do not ever travel with Fleetway.com!Just wanted to mention that quickly. On arrival at Barcelona airport we had noone to meet my partner and i and his 13 year old and my 11 yr old. After lots of confusion and trying to call the emergency number in the small print we finally found a bus to accept our travel vouchers after 2and a half hours !. The cambrils is a pleasant hotel easy a 3 star and personally i thought the food was of a good standard. However after a couple of days became repetitive and too much fish which smelt strongly throughout the restaurant! The breakfast and the desserts were very good. The entertainment was a big let down all that was available was definitely for very young children and its lights off at midnight. The pool was lovely, good in size though cold at first and slippery as you have to go up and down a big step all around the pool. Hotel staff seemed a little miserable and the cleaners knock once then come into your room regardless of the "Do not disturb"sign.Near the end of our holiday we discovered that the activities ie mini golf and tennis were actually in the neighbouring hotel!.The nearby beach is beautiful but over 20 euros for 4 beds !.Salou is nearby and quite lively i recommend The Robin Hood and The Rovers Return if you like karoke.Always use the bus as taxis expensive.Nearby port aventura is a great theme park and is 100 euros for 2 adults and 2 kids from 7pm til 12 (cheaper than day)though to our annoyance the queques were 2 hours long so not good value for money there!Overall was a good holiday though rained heavily 3 times but i would recommend the hotel itself.

Just come back from 2 weeks at Cambrils Playa, self, husband and sons(13&11) we all had a fantastic time. Large comfortable rooms, cleaned daily, good food, all inc worked really well. Bar/waiting staff friendly. It's a family friendly hotel, no noise after midnight. Lovely beach only short walk(not good at judging distance but no more than 300m) away. 2 supper swimming pools, although as previously stated take care around main pool due to marble, top pool much better but grass needed cutting, tennis courts, basketball nets and football my 2 boys didn't need much else other than a trip to Port Aventura! Would happily recommend for families, don't go if you're a twosome you'll feel out of place with us families!!

My rating is for an all inclusive 3 star hotel...not the Ritz. Many reviewers have commented that their sheets were not changed daily, but how many people change their sheets at home each day? The area around the pool is slippery so care should be taken and my daughter burnt her hand on the drier in the ladies loo, when I asked reception to put it out of service it took a while to find someone who understood English,(however, their English is better than my Spanish!) and unfortunately when I showed her, she agreed and said "I know; it's dangerous" but no action was taken. The bar and security staff were all extremely pleasant and happy. The food was wonderful, except undercooked chicken on one occasion. There was plenty of choice and the desserts were amazing! Sandra (the rep onsite) is fabulous, and it was a pleasure to meet her. Upon arrival reception could not find our booking, but put us in a room for the evening until our booking information was retrieved. The entertainment was unimpressive, but after a few Sangria's it's easier to be amused...unfortunately perhaps in the wrong places???
Overall I was happy with this hotel, and I plan to return.

I must have been to a different hotel to some of the people in the other reviews. I've just had a week all inclusive just me and my 2 kids, a 14yr old boy and 4 yr old girl. It was one of the best Spainish hotels I've been to, the food was ok (typical spainish hotel food) the staff WERE friendly, the rooms were clean, the pool was also a nice size and there is also a kids pool. There are plenty of sun beds. Myself and my kids totally enjoyed the Holiday and would recommend the Hotel. Its a 5 minute bus ride to Salou which is very lively. Its a 2 minute walk to the lovely sandy beach.
I must agree with one of the other reviews where it was said the people moaning must have xpected a 5 star deal for a 3 star price.
The only fault I can say about this hotel is the pool area is quiet slippery....but its the same at most hotels.

thers are so many complaints about this hotel, but we found it great.rooms were basic but clean, with maid service every day.beds were comfortable, and bathroom spotless.food was ok but full english breakfast was the best.childrens choice was excellent,( and most of the adults ate it ) pool was large and clean.snacks all day,inc burgers, chips ect.the only thing i didnt like was that come midnight, they turned all the lights out and you were supposed to go to bed!!! yeah right.salou town centre was only a 10 min walk and there are loads of pubs and clubs.bus service was great and also much cheaper than taxis.beach is lovely and litter free and only a 3 minute walk.we enjoyed it so much were going there again in october.

My fiance, daughter (22months) and i went to the Cambrils Playa hotel in June. Overall the holiday was enjoyable. The hotel rooms were spacious and very clean. The one problem we had, was that we had to pay 6 euros per night for a cot for my daughter. Sunshine holidays said the cot was included in the price, but the manager of the hotel insisted it wasnt, so that was a minor set back which we unfortunately had to pay for.
There is a great pool bar beside the childrens pool which is open daily. The staff are very friendly and try their best to talk to you in your language. The food was 10/10 and had a great choice daily. There is a grill in the restaurant where the chef cooks fresh meats such as steak, ribs, chicken, various fish, pork and lamb. There is also a seperate childrens section.
Overall our holiday was great and i would not hesitate to go back to this resort. the whether was fantastic at 34 degrees, and another plus about the resort is that the beach was a 2-3 min walk.
Wouldnt recommend for stag/hen nights or groups of girls/boys

I booked a holiday to here and then read some of these reviews and to be honest i was dreading the holiday. However i must say i had no reason what so ever, The holiday was fantastic. The hotel itself is literally a 2 minute walk from the beach and there are a few shops nearby for any essentials you may need. The hotel was very clean and all the staff were very well mannered and polite and were excellent with my daughter who's nearly 2. We were checked in and in our room within 10 minutes. We were lucky enough to have a room which over looked the pool and the stage area which is where all the entertainment takes place, Entertainment started at 9 usualy with a mini disco for the children and then adult entertainment starts at 10, The entertainent was brilliant from flamingo dancers one night to people juggling fire stood on a ball the next night. There are plenty of sun loungers and chairs around the pool area so no problem finding those. The pool area itself and is cleaned every morning and is very well presented. The pool was always clean and not as described in some of the previous reviews. Some of the reviews also mentioned the poor quality food i personally think they must have been eating somewhere else, The food was fantastic, There is a seperate childrens area with childrens food for those fussy eaters with usually either chicken nuggets, turkey drummers or burgers as well as the obvious chips. There is a seperate grill area where the food is prepared and cooked on view and ranges from things such as beef, chicked, pork, pork ribs and even steak. As well as the usual chips, rice, pasta, vedgetables. Deserts were always a treat too with plenty of variety from peaches and melon to chocolate mousse, cake and ice cream. Throughout the day there is all inclusive snacks available at the pool bar and this included chips, hotdogs, burgers, toasties and ice cream. If you want a good family holiday or even a relaxing holiday then this is the place to go. If you wan't the salou night life style of holiday then maybe this would probably not be the best place for you. I would recommend this hotel to any family young or old. I would definitely go back here again. The only review i agree with from those previous is where someone said that those that are complaining obvioulsy want 5 star hotel quality at 3 star price.

I stayed at this hotel coming to the end of September which supposedly was still in season! It cant have been because nothing was open, not even the pool bars.
Me and my boyfriend went with another couple and where expecting a 2 bedroom apartment, how wrong could we be, all 4 of us were sent up to a room with only 2 beds, we then went to correct the situation to find that none of the staff or the manager could speak any English. We were given an extra 2 beds in this tiny room. So 2 couples had to share one room which is wrong isn't it?? We spoke to the rep the next day who said for an extra room we would have to pay the price of the holiday again. I think this is disgraceful!
The staff were the moodiest and most unhelpful I have ever come across. The food was disgusting and the same everyday. The only good things were that it was all inclusive so we could drink to forget the horribleness and the beach was glorious. All in all I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. It was the worst holiday I have ever been on.

Me and my family stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. We urged the tour operator to find us an English hotel with English entertainment but we didn’t get it.
Don’t get me wrong we did enjoy our holiday but only for making our own entertainment with friends we had met.
Food was ok some days and really bad others but you get that everywhere you go. This hotel seemed to us to cater for the Spanish and no one who worked there was help full.
The beach is just across the road and Salou centre is about 15 minutes in a taxi. Weather was fantastic pools were clean and refreshing and plenty of sun loungers.
There was nothing really for the children to do but that didn’t bother us as ours were happy in the pool.
One thing that I would warn you about is that at 12 midnight when the bar shuts so does the hotel security are really keen all lights off and if you don’t go to your rooms immediately you are warned with the police, so if you like a bit of a late night you will be in for a shock.
This hotel was basic, but...

This hotel was basic, but comfortable. Pool was cold but once used to it, it was lovely and refreshing.
Food wasn’t as bad as expected, plenty of choice (but if you like your chips, go to the children’s section) wine with lunch and dinner, erm, not too bad!
Plenty of choice for all inclusive drinks(but watch the measures if you want to be still standing past 9pm). Lots of Spanish and Germans here but not too much hassle from them.
There were a few thefts at the hotel, so watch your purse, wallet, and passports at all times. Safe is in your room and well worth the £5 a week to rent it.
Overall, a very pleasant stay and came home nice and tanned. Beach was quite shingly so take flip flops ect, we came home very relaxed and really enjoyed it.

Having just come back from Spain and I read the reviews on here, it scared me, I thought it was going to be a disaster but I have to say we had a brilliant holiday they catered for all sorts of people young and old.
The food was very good and had a brilliant selection they even had its own kids buffet area which our son of 8 loved. The beer was not watered down at all and they was a great selection of spirits.
I was impressed with the decor of the hotel as I worried a bit after seeing comments on the internet the rooms were lovely and clean and staff was very helpful.
They is a brilliant selection of British bars and restaurants within a five to ten minute walk or you can catch the bus which is every half an hour. You have to try the aqua park it was very pricey for food thought but the hotel makes a picnic up for you if you ask which will save you money our son loved the aqua park and we spent all day there.
Salou is only a ten minute bus journey which is a must do to go to it was brilliant in all we had a fantastic time and would go back again.
Well, where do I start with this...

Well, where do I start with this lovely hotel..?
I went with a family of all ages really. Adults, teenagers (me and friends), younger teenagers (13 year olds) and children 7 and 5 years of age, and every single one of us enjoyed this holiday.
We enjoyed the pub being just down the road, also the beach and supermarkets and small shops and the bus stop was right outside so we could travel anywhere within minutes. We went everywhere; water parks, theme parks all different beaches etc.
The downfall of this hotel was the fact the food wasn't too pleasant and also it was basically the same every night so the whole family was eating chips every night and also chicken. Another thing the maids never gave us towels so we had to ring down for them and complain all the time and they never changed our bed sheets or cleaned our bath. Other than that the hotel was perfect nice size room’s lovely balcony to sit on of a night and watch the entertainment.
The pool we all loved wasn't too cold was just right as we went in July which was 40 degree heat. The thing me and my friends enjoyed the most was meeting the bar staff they were great we loved them many thanks too Joseph, Alberto and Carlos. The drinks were ok I suppose considering it is all inclusive, but the beer was watered down and they need a bit more choice to choose from.
We had so much fun at this hotel and want to go again next year. It was just fantastic. Thanks again to the bar staff apart from one which was really rude. Oh yes I forgot to mention the fact that they had a lot of activities e.g. Tennis, basket ball, swimming, water aerobics, water sports etc. Loved it!! Xx

The hotel was a disappointment from the outset. The reception staff were unfriendly at check in.
The room was extremely dirty, the bathroom was never cleaned in our whole week, and I would say a few weeks before. The TV did not work, the air conditioning was temperamental, in our one bed change of the week the sheets looked dirtier than what they were before the change. The towels were grubby even though changed every day. The food left a lot to be desired.
Breakfast was as you would expect in Spain and was passable. Lunch was a disgrace as was dinner the same muck was served every day. The children’s buffet was not fit for human consumption and my two year old just spat it out as soon as he tasted it. The food was tasteless, chips with everything.
The dining rooms cleanliness left a lot to be desired. We ate out of the hotel most days as we could not stomach it.
The pool was fine for all but marble tiles surrounded it which again were dirty and extremely dangerous. The bar staff were the worst I have ever encountered. They were rude and unhelpful.
When we once asked for snacks in the evening they refused to make them until we pointed out our rights. We stayed away from all facilities as much as possible. I would strongly recommend no one in their right minds to stay in this hotel.
This was a view widely echoed by other guests.

Just returned from staying at Internacional Playa (Cambrils). I blame myself for this last minute booking!
Stayed with husband and 2 children for 10 days here, but would not recommend them to anyone.
When you arrive you have to collect your keys from the Ibersol office down the street. 100 Euros deposit!! We duly did this, but on arrival to our allocated room at complex we were shocked.
The mirrored wardrobes were smashed, the front door had been kicked in at the back of it, the toilet was dirty, the tiles were cracked. We took pictures and went straight back to Ibersol!
We were given another room, but on opening the door, it was full of someone else’s stuff!
On returning to Ibersol again in 90 degree heat, the man stated that 'this could not be!!’ COME AND SEE PAL! Another room (3rd of day) allocated...
OK THANK GOD! Clean but very basic, 2 cooker rings ONLY! I would class this as poor for self catering option.
Cambrils/Salou itself was a fantastic place and would visit again in a flash!!
