My wife and I travelled to St.Wolfgang for our 1st skiing holiday. We stayed in Hotel Zimmerbrau. We found the hotel to be excellent. The staff are so friendly. Always asking how we are and if we're enjoying ourselves.
The room was spotless. Cleaned everyday while out skiing. We had a room to the rear which is really quiet. Food was absolutely tremendous. A nice friendly atmosphere in the bar at nights.
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was 1 of our best holidays and having good accommodation helps.

We found the Zimmerbrau to be very clean, with a good choice of buffet homemade meals, room was very spacious and nicely decorated, but as we had paid £90 pp extra for a room with a lakeside view.
It was rather annoying to be told by the owner that we would not see the lake as we had arrived at night, so I stood on a chair in the morning and guess what - no lake view to be seen.
This is something that Inghams should be checking. We also felt that the owners could have taken a bit more interest in their guests, not once in the duration of our stay they ask if we were enjoying our holiday.
Not a lot to do in St Wolfgang for evening entertainment.

Excellent hotel, this is a family run hotel, lovely family.
Food is excellent, plenty of choice. Rooms are lovely and clean, couldn’t fault it, all lovely little beds and matching wardrobes etc.
Lovely little bar in hotel that isn’t expensive. This hotel should definitely be a 4 Star.
The resort of St Wolfgang is very pretty but very very quite, not the place to go if you want nightlife.
It is a lovely location for skiing as the ski bus stops right outside on a daily basis.

We have just arrived back from spending a wonderful week in Austria staying at the Zimmerbrau Hotel. This family run hotel has to be one of the most friendliest hotels we have ever stayed in.
Food was excellent; all home made and always a good selection. We had a superior room with a balcony view of the lake side. Not all bedrooms have baths which you need after a full days skiing!! There is a small bar / snug area which is fully equipped with games and books. There is also an internet point in the snug where you can pay for so many hours; be given a password and off you go.
Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to ski in the Postalm / Gosau area. The ski bus stops right outside the hotel.

We had a great stay at the Zimmerbrau Hotel.
The hotel was spotless, the beds were clean and comfortable.
The food was home cooked with plenty and good a variety.
The bar area was nice but there was a smoking policy which made it uncomfortable at times, the bar bill was very reasonable.
Overall very good I would return there given the opportunity to go.
St Wolfgang its self is beautifully positioned on a lake, but it is NOT a ski resort it takes a disappointed 1hr.15min to get to the ski resorts Crystal did not mention this to us.
However we had a great holiday.

We have stayed in this hotel for the past 2 years and have booked again for 2007. Absolutely fantastic.
Hans and Alex the owners are excellent hosts and really go out of their way to make the hotel family orientated and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is all home made with a wide variety of choices every day, and cooked in small batches. The rooms are most comfortable and newly furnished.
The location is central with all the local amenities right on your doorstep. The ski bus stops right outside. The hotel also has a ski room which includes boot dryers, most handy! Warm, friendly, spotlessly clean, what more could you ask for! Free German lessons also thrown in by Alex at the bar!! Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have just come back from a holiday Snowboarding with my boyfriend we are in are early 20s in St Wolfgang and was staying at the hotel Zimmerbraeu.
This hotel is friendly, and is run by the family who are extremely kind and friendly The rooms are fairly new with all mod cons.
The food is excellent and home made, also there is a small bar with games to play, you are located in the centre of the village and there are a few bars 100 meters away that sell cocktails.

The hotel was very clean and modern, the rooms were brilliant and so was the service. The staff were lovely and they really made my holiday one to remember. The hotel is situated right in the centre of the town, one minute from the ferry station, and five minutes from the lake and train station. The town was very traditional and very beautiful. I enjoyed my holiday very much and will definitely return. I highly recommend the hotel Zimmerbrau and the town of St Wolfgang.
