Arriving Memorial Day Weekend meant...
7 / 10
Jan 2008, Miss GA Darlison

Arriving Memorial Day Weekend meant Vegas was really busy. We were here with 25 friends & family to get married in a traditional wedding off the strip. The holiday had been booked for 9 months. Upon checking in we found out that we were being shipped to another hotel, less expensive & less exclusive than ours, with very little reassurance initially that we would be in our room for the remaining 6 of the 7 nights booked.
We luckily got into our room the following day but found THE hotel as little too exclusive for our tastes. It was full of little rich teenagers who felt the world owed them a favour, with no manners or common sense. As myself & my husband sat enjoying the sun near the pool I was set upon by a group of 6 American girls who thought it would be fun to start a fight. Being training in martial arts I always walk away from a fight only to be drenched in strawberry daquari.
The pool attendant took no notice & merely spoke to the ladies in spanish, I didn't really understand what was being said. Vegas is brilliant & I had the time of my life. THE Hotel is beautiful accommodation. The memory is soured however, by a hotel full of jumped up rich folk who appear to have never worked a hard days graft.

Great hotel. Couldn't do enough for...

Dec 2006, Mrs S Dickson

Great hotel. Couldn't do enough for us but it was our honeymoon so that may be why.
Rooms are all suites and are huge. A TV in every room including the bathroom - you think it's frivolous but you miss it when you get home! Slightly more expensive than other hotels but nearly all the other hotels are decorated in a really outdated fashion.
Room service is a must as it comes on a proper dining room table with silver service and bone china. We'll definitely go back.
Tip for gamblers staying in The Hotel. Don't gamble there, the slots are too tight and quite expensive. Play at the Luxor next door. The slots are much, much looser there, the drinks are better and come more often, and the shops between Mandalay and Luxor are great.

Excellent hotel for all the family...

Excellent hotel for all the family and businessperson. The Mandalay bay hotel and The Hotel at Mandalay bay are within the same site at the end of the strip. These two hotels are pure luxury with great facilities within there rooms and cater for every traveller. The hotel has many facilities including gambling areas, large Aquarian, lots of shops, bars, swimming pools, beach and a nightclub. There is a large verity of food facilities for eating in or buffet bars throughout the hotel prices vary dependant upon where you choose to eat. The staff are helpful and friendly too. There is a shuttle service that enables you to link to 2 other hotels. This also saves you walking time to explore other hotels within Las Vegas. I would recommend this hotel every time.
Bus service within Las Vegas is excellent enabling you to gain access to all the other hotels within the strip.

Beautifully clean hotel, attentive staff and amazing facilities. Hotel staff happy to arrange anything from travel, tours, dry cleaning and even our total wedding package!
Nothing was too much trouble and we were not made to feel silly at any request - even directions around the hotel. It was almost as if our requests had been second guessed, fantastic, would thoroughly recommend it, not disappointing on any level.

Fabulous resort. Hotel was...

Fabulous resort. Hotel was marvellous- larger than average room, beautiful pools, lazy river and beach area. Pampered ourselves in the Spa. All of the hotel’s restaurants we were able to try were first class. Service was exceptional. We got entry into House of Blues nightclub which looked out onto the strip from a roof terrace- what more can I say- it was amazing. Went to see Mamma Mia in the theatre and that was great too. This was the most luxurious hotel I have ever stayed in and we had the most fun we’d ever had.
