Kiotari Bay Miraluna Hotel

After looking at various sites before going on holiday we were dreading going to this resort as all the reviews were shocking.
We had a lovely 2 weeks at Kiotari Bay, the food was excellent & catered for all tastes. You had the choice of cereals, fruit & yogurt, toast, sweet breads or full english for breakfast all with tea, coffee, grapefruit juice or fresh orange. For lunch & dinner you had a choice of hot or cold food, the salads were delightful & the mountains of feta cheese were to die for! The snack bar provided unlimited ice-creams & drinks throughout the day, & a wide selection of pizzas, sandwiches & salads as well as coffee & cakes in the afternoon.
The pools & grounds were well maintained & were lovely to relax around. The beach could be accessed directly from the hotel via a small track path & under a small bridge.
The staff were pleasant & very helpful. The holiday reps, from First Choice & 1 2 3 Fly worked tirelessly to provide continuous entertainment throught the day & into the evening.
The only downside to this resort is that it is in the middle of nowhere. The small village of Kiotari is 15 minutes walk away, you can do this either on the beach or on a small track path. It has a few small supermarkets & trinket shops. Lindos is 10 minutes away by bus & Rhodes town is an hour 20 minutes. The bus stops directly at the top of the road from the hotel a taxi to Lindos is about 12 euros.
We had a great time at Kiotari, and I would suggest to anyone who has read awful reviews to ignore them & make up your own mind. Personally we could not have had a nicer time (with a 10 month old baby & a 7 year old it's not always rosy!) & would go again tomorrow!
