In celebration of my mum and dads 25th wedding anniversairy, the 4 of us jetted off for a 2 week break touring san francisco and las vegas. the hotel we stayed in in vegas (circus circus) was i think the oldest out of all the hotels on the strip, and when you compared it... more

This hotel was described as 4 star...but i would say 2 star at best. It was packed to the rafters so maybe we were unlucky with our room. The plugs were hanging off the wall, and you get an electrostatic shock from any metal you touch. The circus was rubbish and the casino... more

This hotel was larger than life. There was a huge reception area with check in, queries and bell services. The rooms were the largest hotel rooms I have ever seen. There were 2 double beds, TV, bathroom which was very clean, table, wardrobe plus a view across the circus... more

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It has everything you need: shops, restaurants, gambling of course; it even has a McDonalds all within the hotel and there are much more just a few steps out!!! It’s at the end of the strip but it’s a good place to start walking... more

We stayed here in November whilst on a road trip. Spent 3 nights at this hotel. I booked this hotel because of the price, trying to keep the budget down and being in Vegas, we wouldn't spend much time in our room. It turned out to be an awful stay. We finally checked in,... more

A few years ago Las Vegas was not a resort for a family holiday, but now all that has changed, and Circus Circus is an ideal hotel for a family to stay in. There is plenty to keep the children amused and occupied during the evenings after a day out on different excursions.... more

Went to Las Vegas for a 2 week holiday, now 2 weeks is way too long for Vegas! Stayed in Circus Circus it is on the strip near the top end. Now we paid something ridiculous like £8 per night which was fab. The hotel is huge! but it is Vegas I guess. Now for us a room was... more

The Circus Circus is a great hotel & you get what you pay for. If you want 5* luxury then this is not the hotel for you. It may need some updating but how long in a city like Vegas do you really spend in your room. I’ve stayed in some of Vegas's top hotels as I come here... more

OK hotel with an excellent breakfast buffet. The hotel is a little dated compared to others on the Las Vegas strip.
For those with young kids or on a tight budget makes a super base in this exciting city.
Rooms are clean but make sure you get a high rise one so that the view can be appreciated.

The last time we go to Circus Circus
We went to Circus Circus,Oct.29th to Nov. 2nd, 2003, for my retirement from the post office, 30 years. We got a good price on the internet, and a flag came up, saying we didnt have to check out till 8 pm on Sunday, they had put us on a midnight flight back. When we got there the clerk said you have to call Sunday morning, and ask how many rooms they have filled, but that Sunday was the lightest day,and there should be no problem. Sunday morning my husband went to desk, and explained to them, and they said sorry were full up, which he didnt believe, with 3,770 rooms, but couldnt prove it. The clerk said if we wanted to stay it would be full price, they wouldnt budge. My husband said what happended to the 29.00 and 35.00 rooms? The clerk said were full, eiher pay the full price, or leave!!! So he paid it, so we wouldnt be on the street till midngight with our luggage Sunday. So now that im retired well go to Vegas again, but never stay at CIRCUS CIRCUS,and never recommend it to anyone!
Should be condemned
Husband & I went with our two children. Stayed there to be close to Adventuredome. Upon arrival I thought I might be mugged. Felt like I was in the "projects". When we got to the room, found our party of four was to fit in one queen bed. When asked the front desk, told no single hotel guarantees any bed accomodations and no two bed rooms were available. After a lot of talking, we found a room with two beds across the hall. When I asked for the internet 2 for 1 buffet special they all but called me a liar. Room was poor. Yard sale type lamps, water stained chairs. The price wasn't worth the the rude staff and poor accomodations-especially considering they're part of the Mandalay Bay chain. Don't bother writing to complain. They don't seem to care.
Kids Everywhere!!!
Full to the (big) top with kids. If you don't mind constant screaming kids all over the place this is the hotel for you! The rooms are great, but the rest is a bit run down. It is, however, increadibly cheap.
Great Deal on room
We stayed here at end of Sept. midweek, and it was very quiet and was worth the low price we paid. We stayed in the Manor rooms which are very close to the main casino and hotel.
Circus it was!
My husband and I went here for our first trip to Las Vegas. Hotel registration was great, the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The Pink Pony Restuarant waitstaff was below-average until we went there as VIPs on our comp dollars. The casino had good payouts, our money lasted the entire trip, we won-some and lost-some. Lots of kids....your children will love it. If you don't have children, I would suggest staying somewhere more adult friendly. The lights in the casino were too bright, cocktail waitress sightings were rare and some of the card dealers seemed grouchy from too many hours at the tables. Our overall experience was below average. We expected more appreciation from the staff considering the amount of money we spent there. Food is not cheap and make sure you're putting money in a machine if you want a free drink!!!
Good accommodation for the priceu
We stayed at Circus Circus in September 2003, and found it OK. It is nowhere near the standard of the more well-known hotels, but it was clean & spacious, if a little tatty - but then you're not paying the price of Bellagio! Pool area was disappointing-surrounded by brick wall & overlooked by road. You also had to go through the casio in your beach-wear to get to the pool. Plenty of sunbeds and clean free towels though. Situated at far end of the strip, and getting home from Luxor side was a nightmare, due to the amount of traffic-often took 1 1/2 hours. Lots of kids, but would be great for families. Checking in was terrible, no system, free-for all took forever. Breakfast buffet excellent value for money.
Renewal Vows In Las Vegas
We stayed at Circus Circus which was a very good value as long as you don't mind going off property to eat all your meals. The rooms were very good for the price but the food on site is horendous. We also used Circus Circus' Chapel to renew our vows on our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The service was excellent. Much more that we expected. The Minister took his time and his wording was very moving. If you have any interest in the video of your service buy it before the service. The price goes up about $15 if you choose to purchase it after you see it.
Circus Circus Las Vegas is a dump!
I booked this hotel for a business trip sight unseen. What a mistake! When I arrived I couldn't bring myself to check in. I was greeted at the entrance by two women fighting and the police trying to break them up. The lobby is mangy, with stained carpeting that smells of goodness knows what. The hotel's atmosphere is terrible. I quickly moved to another hotel and I was never more glad to leave a place in my life. Now, I am no Donald Trump, but trust me when I tell you, in my opinion Circus Circus Las Vegas is a dump!
Room are a good value, but you might want to do your gambling elsewhere
My father and I booked two (2) rooms for two nights each at Circus Circus in early September 2003. We both were surprised that the rooms were as nice as they were in light of the very low rate that we were charged (US$75/night on Saturday and US$30/night for Sunday). Neither of us found the casino attractive at all, however, and we didn't place a single bet there, opting to go to the newer South Strip hotels or the classic downtown sites like the Golden Nugget or Horseshoe. For a family on a budget, I don't think that Circus Circus could be beat as far as value for the dollar, but if you are looking for luxurious surroundings, I wouldn't "bet on" Circus Circus being your cup of tea.
day care center
kid,s kid,s kid,s We should have know better understanding their was a theme park on site (our fault.) Signs saying you must be 21 to be around machines .This rule seems not to be enforced on a continueing bases to bad. Nothing like playing machines with someone a few feet away with kids. But to top it off when we went to check out ,their was no other guest at the counter so we started to just walk up but was stopped an told to walk the velvet rope maze this was uncalled for. as for my wife and myself we will not have to write another review as we will never go there again
