Gold Coast Hotel and Casino

If you're looking for a great value in Las Vegas accommodations, look no further than the Gold Coast. The beds are soooo comfortable, the food was great (especially the buffet), the location is fantastic (near the Rio, Palms, Strip, I-15), and the employees were friendly and courteous. Would recommend the V.P. slots but suggest avoiding all the rest. Our only complaint is that, because of it's popularity with the locals, the Sports and Race Book is very noisy, even for a betting room.

This place was a DUMP, there was maggott infested food in the hallways.. The help was very poor nobody spoke english.... The pool was green with some kind of funk going on... we are going down again in may and we are going to stay at the imperial palace

This was our second stay at the Gold Coast. We stayed there in 1999, and was satisfied with it then. Rooms were clean, a little run down, but not bad and the staff was very friendly. What a sunrise to see how much they improved it with the Remodel. The rooms are not plush, but they are very nice. The most comfortable beds I have ever seen in a Hotel. All the staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone. The next time I head for Las Vegas the Gold Coast will be the first place I look at for a room.

After vacationing at several strip hotels we decided to try The Gold Coast last year. We just returned from our 3rd stay there and will return again in April. The staff is friendly and courteous, the rooms are clean, the restaurants are wonderful (and priced right) and the shuttle runs often enough that there is seldom a wait, (although we enjoy the walk to the strip). Can't imagine staying anywhere else!!

Just returned from a wonderful Valentine's weekend stay. Though bathroom was tiny, everything else was great. Room clean and comfy. Casino very nice with great live band and excellent restaurants, not to mention a fine dinner and show deal with prime rib for thirty bucks! There were lots of locals here, but they couldn't have been friendlier and the staff was excellent too. I may never stay on the strip again since it is soooo crowded, but it was nice to take the free hotel shuttle there and back when we wanted to sightsee. Definitely a strong recommendation based on our stay. Right across the street from the Rio and the Palms, two other nice places. Give Gold Coast a shot. It is great. DM St. Louis

After reading whatever we could find from travel guides to comments from other travelers, we chose the Gold Coast for our recent stay in Vegas (Feb. 12-15). It was everything we were looking for in a hotel; check-in was quick, our rooms were clean, spacious and we had a partial view of the strip (we were on the 6th floor), the rooms were very quiet, the bed was really comfortable, and the price was quite a bit less than most other hotels. Parking was a breeze - we parked on the upper level of the parking ramp and walked right into the hotel in just a few steps. The hotel itself was very clean, and it was easy to find things. The staff was nice and helpful, especially Mimo, the Bell Captain. The breakfast buffet was fabulous ($4.95), and our dinner on Valentine's Day evening in the Cortez Room was delicious, the service excellent and the price for 4 adults eating lobster, prime rib and orange roughy, with wine and desserts, was just under $100. It was easy to find the slot machines we wanted, or a $5 blackjack table. After seeing the sights (and fighting the traffic) on the strip, it was nice to come back to this hotel at night.

we stayed in november. We had great service. The beds are great. They are made of foam not an interspring. If you like select comfort beds or a water bed you will love this. plus free CHILD CARE!

I was impressed...very clean, staff friendly, buffet not bad...some slots paid very well. The room was definitely large enough and clean. We will stay there again.

Probably the most boring, plain hotel in Vegas. My wife liked the bingo, the kids liked the bowling, my cheap friends liked the $3 tables and the buffet was great. But all that can be enjoyed by staying next door at the Rio (the best value in Vegas)

Stayed at Gold Coast 12/30/03-01/04/04. Rooms were clean, restaurants/buffet was great, friendly staff, and free shuttle service to the Strip. Gold Coast is a great value.
