Tuscany Suites Hotel & Casino Las Vegas

rooms were large, clean and functional...after all, we spent just a few hours to sleep, change, and shower....most of the time we were out enjoying Vegas and all the activity. Was quite close to the strip...a 10 minute walk got us to the centre of town...and we had all the necessities...fridge, tV, clock,kitchenette and a separate bath...worth the cost, definetly! Staff were a bit anonymous, but that was ok with us...we did our own thing. Had 4 days only and would like another trip in the future...accomodation will be cost-based... more

The Tuscany is a fairly new hotel, about 18 months old. It's about a 1/2 mile off the strip and, probably because of that, taxi service is pretty hit and miss. A couple of times we had to wait up to 10 minutes for a taxi (which is an eternity, compared to anywhere on the strip) You can walk to the strip, but there's not much to see along that part of E Flamingo, and it will be a hot, sticky 10 minute walk. Arrived Monday afternoon, stayed thru Friday. It was great! Clean Large Room, without a large price. Only problem we had was finding the laundry room.

We stayed 7 nights at The Tuscany. The hotel was an excellent value--big room with fridge, microwave & coffee maker. Excellent service throughout the property. Ate at both restaurants and both were delicious and low priced. Terrific cocktail service weither we were playing nickels or dollars. Small casino with any slot/VP/ or table game you 'd want. Good slot club--we were comped room and food and given $60 cash back. Well I didn't know what to expect going to Las Vegas, this was my first time to America and we chose the party and gambling capital! I was absolutley thrilled with it, it was the best holiday I have been on by far. We stayed at The Tuscany Suites which is just off the strip. It is a 3 * hotel which is gorgeous, the rooms are massive and very well maintained. The hotel staff were very accomodating and always got us a taxi as soon as we walked out the door. I stayed at The Tuscany the weekend of 05/21-05/23 with my girlfriends (all of us in our mid 20's). The only plus I seen in the place were that the rooms are really big. Besides that, nothing else really impressed me. The service by the employees was not all that great. Most of them were rude. The rooms are a good walk from the casino. It takes FOREVER to get a taxi I'm assuming since it is a distance off the strip. We went to Vegas 2 weeks ago and stayed at The Westin which was by far a better stay than the Tuscany. We were nervous about where to stay after reading the reviews of the other hotels and didn't want our trip to be end up being all about a bad hotel experience. I can't say enough about the Tuscany.Very friendly staff, huge rooms and very clean bathrooms. The pool area is lovely-like a mini tropical island. We didn't have problems with chairs, towels or the sprinklers going off like other people had reported. Stayed for a week, room huge, food great, pool clean, staff friendly, weather hot. Five star

Wow. My family just spent eight days/seven nights at the Tuscany and we couldn't have asked for more. The staff was great. The price was right. Everything was terrific quality. The hotel is close to everything. Best of all, it's manageably small and family-friendly. You really feel at home and hate to leave. Not only WOULD I go back to the Tuscany, I WILL go back as soon as I can.

First the the good. The room is large and well furnished.It has a seperate bath and shower. Now the bad. They have a stringent 3:00pm check in so dont get there early. The first thing we found was the exhaust fan hanging out of the wall.(these are very loud) along with the electrical wall socket for the TV. When ever someone else let their door close the pictures on the wall shook.Sound proofing was nil. You can hear the people above you walking around. The food was reasonable in price but below average in quality. The slots are not at all... more
