I spent four nights in the imperial palace back in July 08. I choose this hotel mainly due to the cost; it’s one of the cheapest places on the strip. It is situated in great location right opposite caesars palace and the mirage and virtually next door to the ventican. On... more

I've recently returned from a 6 day trip to Las Vegas and I'm still getting over the jet lag along with the disappointment. Don't get me wrong this is my second trip to Vegas and as always its wonderfully brash and in your face. I did however feel very let down by the Tour... more

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights as part of a three-trip package with San Francisco and NY. The hotel itself is not exactly the most famous on the Strip but is certainly one of the cheaper ones. If you want something simple to lay your head then this is it. I imagined... more

Check in was smooth, got talking to the clerk about Robin Hood and the Queen and he upgraded us to the Love Tub Suite, which was fantastic.
Everything about the hotel was great and to cap it all we ended up winning a few bucks on the slots. Will definitely be returning.

I flew with United Airlines from Heathrow via San Francisco (where I did my Customs & Immigration clearance). This was cheaper than flying non-stop (only available from the South with Virgin) and, although a couple of hours longer, much of that was taken up standing in the... more

This was our 2nd visit to this fab place. There is an old saying "you gets what you pay for", and in this case it was correct. The hotel is central right on the strip but I am afraid that is all it has going for it. The rooms are dated, dirty and the bathrooms well enough... more

You get what you pay for as a rule, and on the Strip in Las Vegas, the Imperial Palace is cheap. The rooms aren't luxurious - certainly not compared with what you can get in LV, but if your room is somewhere to park your kit and sleep, who cares? The HUGE advantage of the... more

Despite reading negative reports about the Imperial Palace Hotel in Las Vegas prior to going there recently, my partner and I were pleasantly surprised and had a wonderful holiday there. The hotel is in a prime spot on the 'strip', close to all the other hotels and the... more

Imperial Palace just OK
My mother had previously stayed at the Imperial Palace last year and said the hotel accomodated her just fine. I was hesitant at first to book there but since I got such a good deal, I couldn't refuse. I also liked the fact that it was centrally located on the strip. Of course, its not the best looking hotel, a little dark and can use a renovation ( looks outdated). We did experience a few problems; Our hotel shower was clogged every night and we had to wait a few minutes before the next person could shower. The water was up to our Knees. We didn't get room service every day and when we did, we found one bed made and the other wasn't. Oh, and don't buy any bagels from Betty's. Mine was rock hard and reminded me of styrofoam. However, the employees were really friendly. Its a good spot if you're not too worried about quality. After checking out the other casinos and hotels on the strip, you kinda get embarrassed to say where you're staying. So if you're looking to save some money, this hotel will do. Just expect exactly what you pay for. Not sure if I will stay there again.
hated it
room was dirty and when I complained, the front desk could care less about my displeasure
not that bad
we were leary of staying at the imperial palace, from two different people, but were well pleased with the rooms, clean and quiet. the hotel maids did a great job of cleaning up after us, and with good comps at the machines, we ate for three days on a free breakfast buffet. we will stay there again, loved the location, and had a great time celebrating our 40th anniversary. also questioned the heat in early june, but managed to survive just fine, this statement coming from "not a lover of heat" from wisconsin!!
great!!!!
My friends and I went to Imperial Palace this last weekend. We had a great time and the hotel was great. For the price it was perfect. I recommend the hotel to anyone. Everyone who worked there was great. They have great restuarants. We ordered room service and they did not forget to bring anything that we would need for our meals. Valet parking employees were great!!! Thank You Imperial Palace for helping to make our weekend fun!!!
Long past its heyday-BAD :-( :-(
I have stayed in many hotels in Las Vegas. This property like many before it is destin for the wrecking ball. The rooms in the back are past run down and the ones in front are extremely noisy - (music from the Casino next door). The price and location may be tempting, but don't do it! Whats a few $$ more to have a clean, quite place to sleep.......
Worst Hotel Ever!
We went to Vegas between Christmas and New Year's Day to celebrate our anniversary. For some unknown reason we decided to stay at the Imperial Palace. The room was not at all clean, heat and ac were in bad need of repair. Bathroom was supplied with one towel and washcloth. Staff was not very helpful nor friendly, few could speak English. Housekeeping staff was frumpy and slobby. We had a bad feeling about leaving anything in our room of value. Very little security. I complained at the front desk about the cleanliness of the room and requested it be recleaned while we were out. There were no apologies, but it was done. We ate at their breakfast buffet, and that was awful. Didn't eat there again, and we will never stay there again. It may have been a nice place at one time but has really gone down hill. Upon leaving, we submitted and overall complaint about everything. We were offered a voucher for free rooms the next time we came. I THINK NOT!!!
Nice view of the parking garage
Nice location, and that's about it. It looked like the sister motel to Tam O Shanter. The rooms were not impressive, I had a view of the parking garage, then to top it off, the three nights I stayed there every morning between 6 and 7 am, the sound of a loud ass generator went off. I guess if you like the sound of a generator and a lovely view of a parking garage then this is what you have been waiting for.
Stayed here many times
My boyfriend and I decided to stay here due to close proximity of a friend's wedding. We usually stay here because it has a great location in the middle of the strip, affordable accommodations, etc. This time I booked a Luv Tub Getaway package. Upon checking in, I asked if there were any pool view suites available. He said no, but to my surprise he came back and upgraded us to the King Suite (which included the luv tub). He also gave us two coupon books (usually only get one with the package). Imperial Palace never disappoints.
Meet our needs
We recently stayed at the Imperial Palace and used it as our tour base for 5 nights. Although the facility is one of the older ones on the strip, it had all of the amenities we were looking for and was centrally located to all of the attractions we had planned on our itinerary. We found the staff very friendly and extremely helpful. The on-premise restaurants (Embers and Seahouse) had excellent cuisine. The rooms weren't spacious but then you shouldn't be spending much time there anyway. We liked the firm beds after a busy day on the strip and in the casino. We enjoyed the tranquility of the Mai Tai lounge so much, that we made it our home bar even after moving to another hotel at the north end of the strip.
A Room is Just a Room
Stayed at IP in April. Great rates, but that's about it. Bathroom was terrible.. funky smell, toilets did not flush, drains didn't drain, etc. Every time we got on elevator someone had a horror story about getting stuck. Although price and location were great, would not stay there again. This hotel needs a renovation big time. Kudos to the valet parking though. Extremely prompt, courteous service.
