English visitors are not made to feel welcome at this hotel. Having paid for a suite we were given two rooms in the attic, we paid a lot extra for a private bath, private balcony etc and did not receive any of these things even when we complained to Crystal Holidays.
The Rep assured us we would be reimbursed on our return but despite several emails, Crystal Ski have not even had the courtesy to reply.
The food at the hotel is very good and the staff other than the Manager were very good and helpful but the Manager was not interested in being helpful to any of the English visitors in the hotel over the Christmas period.

I have just returned from a holiday at this hotel with my children. I found the hotel restaurant staff and management very unhelpful and at times outride rude.
There was a very miserable atmosphere in the hotel and we did not want to spend our evenings in the hotel but went elsewhere.
The main aim of the waiters appeared to be to try to sell as much drinks at mealtimes as opposed to try to make everyone happy.

Excellent service, food and rooms at this hotel which is next to the slopes.
Able to ski from and back to the hotel where the ski room is on the ground floor adjacent to the car park at the front of the hotel.
Ski passes issued at/by reception.
Pleasant indoor heated pool.
Lift to all floors.
So good I have already booked for 2008.

Every January since 1999 I've headed for the Sport Hotel Kuhtai and had a fabulous week.The accommodation and location is very pleasant but it is the restauarant staff that make it extra special; nothing is too much trouble. This year was no exception and, under a new manager,was even better. A new, young, head chef has introduced some fabulous tastes from all over the world to the Menu. The wine list is as good as ever and I especially enjoy the selection of Austrian and Sud Tirol wines. As for skiing, Kuhtai is a brilliant, snow-sure resort and very good for couples and families. There's enough challenge to satisfy all but the most macho skiers and plenty for the less enthusiastic too. Children have a fantastic time in the ski school. You can ski in and out from the Sport Hotel and, when you get back, the Wellness area and pool is an oasis to head for.
