Booked half board basis and the food was exceptionally creative and plentiful. It also included free beer and wine with evening meal, which, given the euro rate, helped! Spa facilities were lovely, fantastic views. Excellent Austrian hospitality.

We booked this hotel as a package and it was the best value for money and definitely exceeded our expectations. The room was massive for three and spotlessly clean. The choice at breakfast was exceptional and we ate so much, sometimes we couldn't do justice to the six course meal at dinner, which was superb. We all agreed we would definitely return. I spent two weeks at this hotel in July. Perfect location in centre of village. Food fantastic , menu was not repeated during our stay. Helpful staff and excellent service from everyone. Good leisure centre with a lovely hot tub on the roof. I can recommend this hotel for a summer holiday.

We have just arrived back from Seefeld the hotel Kaltshmid is excellent we as others enjoyed the roof top hot tub also the spa area was brilliant .out rooms were small but well furnished and clean we unfortunatally did not have a balcony but other aspects of the hotel made up for this . Stayed for a week at the Kaltschmid with family. Great place to stay. Good location in Seefeld and excellent for travelling around either by car or train. Food is excellent with superb quality and choice at dinner. Had an excellent waitress (Heide Marie). The swimming pool and roof top jacuzzi are great with superb views of surrounding mountains. Will definitely be back.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Kaltschmid and enjoyed every minute. The hotel is well located in the heart of Seefeld with bars, shops, restaurants and good transport links right on your doorstep. The food was fantastic, well presented and a good selection of dishes. Great hotel. The children loved the rooftop pool (to the extent that they preferred it to ski school unfortunately). The HB meals were very good. Good location too. Near to ski school, shops and ski hire. I can highly recommend this hotel although I suspect they get plenty of repeat bookings so get in early!

I have stayed at this excellent hotel every January since 1997 and still enjoy it and can't wait until I go back again. We are not the only ones as we always meet up with other people who are also back again. We have made some excellent friendships and one couple have been going for 25+ years. I can recommend this hotel after having stayed there the past 16 years during 1 week always in wintertime. Kaltschmid is right in the centre of Seefeld. Our children were 3 and 4 years old when we started coming to this hotel. We stayed in an appartment with 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with small kitchen. We also stayed in a bigger apartment when my parents came with us. The best thing is that you can go into half board in the hotel.
