We stayed at these apartments for 3 weeks from 24 August and it cost us about £550 each. We had a one bedroom apartment as if you have a studio you sleep on the most uncomfy sofa type beds ever and it would be a bit claustrophobic! The apartment was big, with massive balcony complete with airer to dry washing and towels, very well stocked kitchen (hob, toaster, all crockery, glasses and cutlery, sharp knives, loads of pans and other utensils, fridge and kettle and lots of cupboard space).
There was an indoor table for 4 and one on the balcony which was nice and a tele, although ours was broken and we couldn't get any English channels - take a portable DVD player like we did! They apparently have Sky1 but we couldn't get it. Overall it was clean with new towels/sheets every 3 or 4 days. You will need to hire a fan at reception if you want any sleep though! 14 euros a week plus 20 euro deposit.
The staff were very friendly, especially Pedro who I think must be the manager. Desk always managed and so always someone there. The pool was a bit rubbish as it is small and doesn't see the sun for a lot of the day cos it is set down below street level in bottom of the complex. It is also shared with the scummy cheap apartments next door so their rif raf took over the pool for much of our stay and they were rowdy groups of teens all day and all night driving most residents to the beaches.
The complex was full of these groups and as a result was noisy pretty much from 7 through till 12 and then again at 4/5 in the morning when they all came back. Shouting across the balconies etc which was a bit annoying but only happened in the last 2 weeks. If you are after a quiet stay then go somewhere away from Veronicas at this time of year as it does attract all the young groups.
Black sand beach a 2 min walk away and shops and nice places to eat as well as all the night-life was right on the doorstep. Recommend The Wigan Pier pub for breakfasts and chips, and we preferred Veronicas (O'Neills. Jumpin Jacks) to the bit more chavvy Starco but Downunder bar is cool and so is the nightclub Tramps which is open till 6 when all other bars close at 4.
There is a golden sand beach a 20 min walk away in Los Cristianos (Mare Nostrum resort) if you can stomach the walk but it is MUCH nicer that the black sand beaches with no beach sellers and generally nicer people. Restaurants up there and shopping also fabulous and it is def where I would stay next time.
These apartments are a few miles from the nearest big supermarket so if you are self catering it is a good 5 euro cab ride each way. There are smaller supermarkets nearby but they tend to be more expensive and have less choice. Also there is no launderette on site but the nearest is half way to the nice beach (15 min walk) and they wash and dry a big load for about 13 euros.
Bugs - in 3 weeks we had 2 roaches. One was already dead when we woke up and one crawled over me one evening on its way to the curtain! Just buy bug spray and you will be fine. 2 in 3 weeks was pretty good.
Also internet access at the complex's computer was painfully slow and cost 1 euro for 15 mins! If you just walk to the Veronicas strip and go to the games arcade by the Jordys sports bar it is 1 euro for an hour and much faster.
Weather was pants too unusually but hopefully next year it will be better!
Will be going back to Tenerife but not to these apartments.

I have gave an overall rating of 6 because i did not enjoy the night life close by to the hotel, the town was full of drunks and salesmen trying to sell watches or tacky jewellry, the pool area was nice with the bar, and the staff were very friendly and gave a warm welcome to the hotel, i probably would'nt go to this hotel again due to the fact of the area the hotel is situated.

Woweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
This wasssss the bestest bestest bestest bestest bestest bestest bestest bestest bestest bestest holiday .... everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! :D !!!
The place we stayed in looked like a jungle .. and the kids could play hide and seek and whatnot in the area, not very posh, very relaxed - awesome atmosphere. I would recommend the karaoke with Helen to anyone who goes because that will definitely be a highlight of your experience in the beautiful island of Tenerife. The bartender sings La Bamba.
We love it.
We KNOW you will love it.
And you can buy sexy shorts there

When I read the reviews about bug problems and dodgy security guards I was a bit scared about arriving at the Hacienda Del Sol but when I got there, I could not see what all the fuss was about!
I went on that holiday with all lads, me being the only girl to celebrate my 21st birthday and to be honest with you, I'm surprised the staff put up with all the crap we gave out!
Infact, they were really good to us.
Cleaners were in almost every day, room was clean, and in the evenings you can just step out your apartment and strait into all the nightlife seeing how close the hotel is to all the bars and Veronicas Strip
All in all, I had a great holiday and for a 2star hotel - I had absolutely nothing to complain about!

Apartments are really really central, so brilliant if you'll be going to all the pubs and clubs, so would suit people looking for a party holiday.
The rooms are basic but nice. They are cleaned every other day and new towels given every day.
The pool area is quite nice although the sun bed are really uncomfortable and pool can get busy.
We were really happy with these apartments until we heard that a few people had had things stolen from their rooms. So if you are going to stay here you must get a safe and leave everything of any value in there.
But apart from that bad point these are great for people wanting a party holiday and to just chill in the day.

This place was everything I dreamt of in the brochure, but when I got to my destination it was a shocker!!
We heard that it was a good partying destination this was the case but not for people under the age of 18.
Every bar we went we were asked for id, and the prices of the pool side bars were very expensive.
The staff however were fairly friendly but the security guards kept telling us to turn music down and got offensive.
For better partying destination and nightlife I would advise to go either to Kavos, Faliraki, or Zante these 3 places required no id and everyone was friendly.

Just got back from what can only be described as the best holiday ever.
I went with a friend and we checked all the reviews before we came, although most of them were really good we were still a little apprehensive but when we got there, we could not have been more delighted!
The room was very basic but exactly what we were looking for, if not more! There were enough plugs for us to have a hairdryer on, straighteners on, telly, and music.
The shower was lovely and powerful and the rooms were cleaned 6 times a week.
The pool was clean and the pool bar had a large selection of food and drink. The staff were very friendly and funny.
I can’t praise this place enough!! I'm going to go back at the next opportunity!

Tenerife was the best time I have ever had whilst being abroad.
Our hotel was very basic but what can you expect from a 2 star apartment, the hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly.
If you are after a relaxing holiday I would not advise Playa De Las Americas. It is a holiday for people who like drinking and partying. Some clubs are open until 7am and the drinks are reasonably priced.
I would recommend the hotel and the area to any young people looking for a good time for a small price.

Well I have to say this was the best holiday ever, me and my friend both had a brilliant time, we had 2 weeks in sunny Tenerife.
The apartments were lovely and we did not have any complaints at all. The staff were lovely they were friendly polite, and the reps were very helpful and always there if you ever needed anything, Mike the rep and Hacienda was lovely, bless him!
I would say this apartment would be best for groups who are wanting to go out and enjoy the nightlife as it is in the centre and very close to all pubs and clubs.
There is loads to do with First Choice - booze cruise, bar crawl, foam party and school disco, had great time on all of these and just had ace time!
Off back again to Hacienda in June this year, can’t wait!

My partner and I have just returned from a week staying at these apartments.
The apartments and complex were extremely clean and tidy and the gardens were very well kept. We found the staff friendly and helpful.
We had a couple of breakfasts in the restaurant which were very reasonably priced and to a good standard and there was evening entertainment available a few nights a week, however, we were never in to watch it.
The pool area is next to the bar/restaurant and the pool was lovely and clean and not too cold.
Situated close to a number of bars and Veronicas, however, we did not hear any evening noise except for the couple of lads next door who were a bit rowdy at the early hours of the morning but you can't help that on holiday.
We spent a lot of time walking and trying out numerous bars and restaurants along the sea front. We found two lovely tapas bars in Los Cristianos - La Monteneria and Meson Castallano - approx €50 for two plus a couple of bottles of wine. You just go in and ask for tapas and they bring you a lovely variety.
We did the jeep tour and Medieval night through the tour operator. Take warm clothes if you are going up the mountain as it gets a bit chilly! A very interesting day out.
The medieval night was excellent family fun and a good laugh as everyone gets involved. We took the local bus to Peurto de Cruz (north of the island) - €12 return each and went to Loro Park which saved us a few Euros by doing it this way.
The dolphin and orca shows were wonderful and once again the park is set in lovely surroundings - another wonderful day out. There is an excellent crazy golf course at Parque Santiago (towards Los Cristianos).
Overall we had no complaints about our holiday.

The food was very good. The rooms were very basic, two singles and a camp bed.
Hardly self catering with a microwave, kettle and hob. We had no oven.
The room is only fully serviced twice a week!! Including towel change!!
I woke up on several occasions with cockroaches crawling on my body and in the bed.
The pool areas were hosed down once in a fortnight.
I have stayed in other areas/hotels on these islands and have never experienced anything so filthy and disgusting.
The staff were very good.

These are fantastic apartments, rather basic but everything you need!!! The apartments were clean, the maids came in once a day with clean towels etc. There was no air conditioning which was a nightmare when getting ready to go out but we hired a fan for 12 euros for the week (money well spent).
The pool area was small but not a problem for this time of year, the pool bar was open early to midnight, the bar snacks were fab and drinks quite cheap, with a good selection of cocktails etc the vodka red bull came in a pint glass!!! Was well on my way after 2 of those!!
The bar and reception staff were very freindly and helpful. They were only a few cockroaches that like to play out at night but only outside!! Although we did have one on the coffee table on our first night!! But no more in apartment after that!!!
The location was spot on with Wigan Pier, Linekers, Yate's within a 60 second walk!!! The night life is fantastic, but as we found out a day or two later people don't go out till 11 pm as Nightclub Tramps stays open till 6am and other bars stay open till 2-3am. There was loads and loads of places to eat, spoit for choice, but did eat at Wigan Pier mostly.
The beach is a 5 minute walk away, it's very big and absolutely gorgeous, there are loads and loads more bars and shops on the front and is a lovely walk.
All in all I had a fantastic time and didn't wanna come home, a week just wasn't long enough!! Will defo go back soon!!!
